Louis Vuitton have unveiled their stunning new collaboration Zendaya for their Capucines handbags. The actress said in an interview that she was inspired by the iconic supermodel of the 90s for the campaign.

Naomi Campbell inspired Zendaya for the Louis Vuitton campaign.

Zendaya is the newest ambassador for Louis Vuitton, and she kicked off the partnership with a new bag campaign. The images were taken by Mert and Marcus, the iconic photographer duo, for the brand’s Capucines handbags.

During a new interview FashionZendaya said the campaign reminded her how much she loved their childhood photo. She said: “I remember growing up around LV campaigns.” She also revealed that she was inspired by a particular ’90s supermodel.

Zendaya said per Daily Mail, “There was this Naomi Campbell I loved from the early 2000s, and it’s like it’s spread over a trunk. I can still see it. I see the picture in my head and I remember seeing it in magazines as a kid.”

The “Euphoria” star recalled that she and her friends loved the brand’s iconic logo. He said: “Everyone had the LV print on their Myspace page. At least it was for me! Let me not try to put this on anyone else. I was.”

Zendaya took the photos in a beautiful French villa designed by famous architect Eileen Gray. She was styled by Roach, who put together several stunning outfits for the feature. The dresses were all sleeveless and highly flattering on Zendaya’s model figure.

In one of the photos, the actress was seen in a body-hugging piece, asymmetrical, with one shoulder strap. In a video, Zendaya is seen walking around the villa with several versions of the Capucine bag. Her hair was styled a rich brown and tumbled down her waist.
