In an interview Kristin Cavallari shared her parenting style and admitted that she wouldn’t let her kids be reality stars. The lifestyle expert says she wants her children to enjoy their childhood.
Cavallari also talked about the qualities she looks for in a man, stating that she wants someone who is safe and comfortable, someone she can laugh with and who can be a “good father” to her children.

Kristin Cavallari, a former reality TV star who rose to fame on MTV’s Laguna Beach, recently opened up about her parenting decisions regarding her children’s potential career paths.
Appearing on “The Jennifer Hudson Show” to promote her new jewelry line, Cavallari reunited with her former Laguna Beach costars and revealed that she won’t allow her three children, Camden, 10, Jaxson, 8, and Saylor, 7, to continue their careers in the entertainment industry until adulthood.
When Hudson was asked if her children would become reality TV stars or content creators, the 36-year-old fashion designer and cookbook author said: Daily Mail“I would say no until they are 18. If they want to have a career in entertainment at 18, I’ll support it…but until they’re 18, I want them to be kids.”
“It’s hard enough being a high schooler and doing everything you did as a kid, so just focus on that,” he added.

During the conversation, Cavallari shared that his two sons are obsessed with YouTube stars and even want their YouTube channels. However, she explained that she wants to keep her children away from public scrutiny, stating: “No, we don’t do that. I don’t even post them on Instagram. I’ll try to keep them, kids, as long as possible.”
The former TV star also opened up about her dating life as a single mom after she finalized her divorce from former NFL quarterback Jay Cutler in June 2022. She shared her new dating philosophy: “I took the position that until I was in a serious, committed relationship, there was nothing to report. I’m having fun; I have good dating stories. I’m dating for the first time in my life.”
When asked what qualities she looks for in a partner, Cavallari mentioned that she wants “someone who’s so secure, so comfortable in their own skin,” someone who can be her buddy and make her laugh. She also emphasized the importance of finding a man who can be a “good father” figure for her children.
“It’s good to be out of the fun”
Taking a trip down memory lane, Cavallari recalled being caught off guard by the show when she was still in high school and riding the wave of fame after moving to Los Angeles after graduating. But the mum-of-three now lives in Franklin, Tenn., and says, “It’s good to be out of the fun.”
Cavallari shared details about her life: “I have three kids and now I have a very… normal life, I would say as much as possible, and I’ve set it up so that everything I do now. — cookbooks, my lifestyle brand, Uncommon James — I get to do most of that from my house and, above all, just be a mom, and that’s nice.”

When asked about the most cherished aspect of motherhood, Cavallari replied, “It’s everything.” He explained that children are “a good mirror for us” and “the best teachers”.
“With all the love and little guys to raise and the wisdom you’ve learned over the years, it’s given my life a real purpose, I would say, and it’s the best thing I’ve ever seen. done, indeed,” he added.
