Vin Diesel: Robert Downey Jr. should star in Fast XI
Diesel wants Iron Man himself to play a character who “promotes artificial intelligence and driverless cars and a philosophy that comes with freedom.”
Vin Diesel wants none other than Iron Man himself to join the ‘Fast and Furious’ franchise.
Ahead of the premiere of “Fast X,” Diesel is already sharing his dream pick for the final villain of “Fast XI,” who sounds a lot like Tony Stark meets Elon Musk.
“Without saying too much about what’s going to happen in the future, there’s a character who’s the opposite of Dom, promoting AI and driverless cars and a philosophy that comes with freedom” – Diesel told Variety after naming him Robert Downey Jr. his dream co-star for the last film. “There’s someone who thinks this is the future, and that’s the exact opposite of the Toretto mentality.”

“Fast X” is being directed by “Lupin” and “Now You See Me” helmer Louis Leterrier after “Fast and Furious” franchise director Justin Lin left the production.
The ‘Fast X’ trailer teased a tight race to the finish line, with star Diesel sharing on Instagram: “We’re almost done… We can’t wait to give you a taste of what’s to come…” Meadow Walker, late Fast and Furious star Paul Walker says declared: “I love you. My family forever and ever.”
