Vanessa Lachey wrote a sweet Father’s Day tribute to Nick Lachey

Vanessa Lachey shared an emotional father’s day in front of her husband, Nick Lachey. The adorable couple have three children, 6-year-old Phoenix, 8-year-old Brooklyn, and 10-year-old Camden.

The couple are co-hosts of the popular Netflix shows ‘Love is Blind’ and ‘The Ultimatum’. They recently shared photos of their family vacationing on Kiswahili Island with some relatives.

Vanessa Lachey celebrates her husband Nick on Father’s Day

Vanessa Lachey paid the sweetest Father’s Day tribute to Nick Lachey Instagram. The “Love is Blind” co-host shared several photos of her husband with their children in the hospital right after they were born. The couple has three beautiful children, 6-year-old Phoenix, 8-year-old Brooklyn and 10-year-old Camden.

He wrote: “I’ve looked and looked at all our family photos and the days you became a dad are the best! (Three times). I will never forget how special it was to share these moments with you! Nick, you really are the BEST dad!”

Vanessa closed the caption by saying that Nick was “made for this role” and that she and their children are lucky to have him. Vanessa added: “Today we celebrate you! Happy Father’s Day my love!”

Nick soon responded to the sweet post with, “I love you and these crazy kids!! We are so lucky to have these maniacs!! Being a father is easily the best job I’ve ever done.” Fans also commented that Nick seems like a great dad. One comment read: “He’s the best! I love you! Happy Father’s Day.”

Nick Lachey enjoys spending time with his children

Nick often shares Instagram posts of his fun runs with their kids, such as their outdoor activities in March. The “Love is Blind” co-host shared photos of her and Brooklyn riding horses, surfing the waves with Camden, and making silly faces with Phoenix.

Vanessa commented on one of the adorable posts and wrote, per People magazine, “Hold down your fort! Mama is almost done!!!!” The TV personality herself previously shared an adorable photo of Nick and Brooklyn on her Instagram.

The photo shows Brooklyn wearing a red dress and kissing Nick, who was wearing a Hawaiian shirt. She captioned the post: “First Daddy Daughter dancing and I’m a mess.” In another cute photo, Nick places a red Lei necklace on Brooklyn.

The family is currently on vacation

Vanessa and Nick are currently on a family vacation with some relatives on Kiawah Island. The “NCIS Hawaii” actress shared an Instagram post of those on the trip, writing, “Party of 10!!!”

He also wrote: “2 families, 6 kids, LOTS of laughs and good times!!! We love our Christensen family and Kiawah Island/Charleston. (Fun fact, I went to school here in grades 6-12!) Summer fun is strong, lots of QT! Now on to the next stop: #LacheyPartyof5.”

According to Nick and Vanessa Lachey, “communication” is key in a relationship

A family vacation is in order as Nick and Vanessa have wrapped up their hosting duties on the new season of ‘Love is Blind’. During an interview in February Oh! newsVanessa talked about their future plans.

He said: “I’m not saying we don’t know what we’re doing, but we don’t know what we’re doing either! Like most people, we’re making it up as we go along.”

Vanessa discussed her secrets to maintaining a healthy relationship with Nick for over 16 years. He says it’s all about communication.

He said: “What we talk about all the time in learning is how important communication is. Yes, it’s so cliché. Yeah, it’s like, “Oh, we’ve heard that before.” Well, then use it.” Vanessa said that if people talked to each other a little more, “they’d find that a lot of misunderstandings would be cleared up.”

The actress concluded with “You’ll find that nobody’s a mind reader, and you can actually listen to your partner, understand where they’re coming from, and maybe help satisfy that.”
