Tom Schwartz revealed that she is cautiously optimistic about filming the upcoming 11th season of “Vanderpump Rules,” despite having reservations following her boyfriend’s scandalous affair. Tom Schwartz says he’s scared of filming VPR

Tom Schwartz welcomes his return to reality TV with renewed optimism, despite reservations about filming the upcoming 11th season of “Vanderpump Rules” after the “Scandoval” affair between Tom Sandoval and Raquel Leviss came to light.

In an interview Us Weekly on June 23, while promoting her new Fox series “Stars on Mars,” the 40-year-old reality star admitted she was “terrified” when the new season began.

“We’ve been through so much with this group and we’re a volatile crew,” admitted Schwartz. “We have always been a volatile group of friends. I don’t think I’ve ever argued outside of this group to be honest. We have a lot of history together and there have been trials and tribulations, but it comes from a place of love.”

Schwartz admitted to being apprehensive about the start of the new season, but emphasized that the drama in the Pump Rules crew is always “deserved.” However, he expressed his gratitude for being a part of a show that has been enthralling audiences for over a decade.

Ariana Madix says Tom Schwartz is no longer her boyfriend

Schwartz found herself at the center of controversy when news broke in March of her months-long relationship with her close friend Sandoval and “Vanderpump Rules” co-star Leviss. The scandal caused backlash for Schwartz, especially after it was revealed that he knew about the cheating but chose not to tell Sandoval’s then-girlfriend Ariana Madix, with whom he was on friendly terms.

This revelation strained Schwartz’s relationship with Madix, as she confirmed in the season 10 finale of “Pump Rules” that they were no longer on speaking terms due to her continued loyalty to Sandoval.

“I don’t think you’re a (co-conspirator), but I won’t have mutual friends with him.” So I’m not your friend anymore,” Per stated Us Weekly.

Madix went on to explain the extent of her support for Sandoval, adding, “I was his ride or die and I protected him — even you. I tried to get him to go five days without drinking so they could test his sperm so we could have embryos, because if that’s what he wanted, that’s what I wanted for him. I wish I didn’t miss it, but I feel like what I’m missing isn’t real.”

Tom Schwartz revealed that he will be more stoic

Following the explosive Season 10 reunion, Schwartz revealed that he decided to step back from the constant feuds and arguments that plagued his circle of friends.

In a June episode of “Stars on Mars,” the owner of the “Schwartz and Sandy” bar opened up about the toll the situation took on him, sharing, “My boyfriend had an affair that just swept the nation and I was so confused, but the situation is that I’m stuck in it. It has become a huge source of anxiety in my life. I was involved in this extended funk.”

He continued: “He made a big mess. And then, you know, he left it up to us to clean up the stores. And it’s hard not to be angry with him.”

However, he decided to take a different approach to the group’s drama this time around. Schwartz described his plan of action: “I feel like I’m going to be a little more stoic moving forward; maybe at the beginning of (Scando) I was a little sloppy. I retreated inside.”

Producer Alex Baskin wants everyone to have a minute

With season 11 of “Vanderpump Rules” approaching, Schwartz and the rest of the cast are gearing up for a comeback. However, executive producer Alex Baskin revealed Species last month, the contract renegotiation of the model was temporarily suspended.

“I think everyone is wondering what that could mean,” Baskin admitted. “No one is saying no, I’m saying that – but I think right now it’s hard for anyone to say yes because they feel like they have no respite.”

But the main concern is finding a way for the cast to film together without the tensions spiraling out of control. To address this, Baskin expressed his commitment to giving everyone “a minute.”

However, the question of Leviss’ return remains unknown as the ex-beauty queen has currently stepped out of the public eye.
