Oscar night is finally here. A seemingly endless awards season has finally given way to Hollywood’s biggest night of the year — and one of fashion fans’ biggest fashion bodies. Hollywood’s biggest stars made fashion statements at the Golden Globes, BAFTAs and Screen Actors Guild Awards, but they all saved their best looks for tonight.

This year’s list of nominees is a balanced mix of crowd-pleasing blockbusters and smaller arthouse films. “Everything Everywhere All at Once” led the pack with 11 nominations and is widely expected to win Best Picture, Best Director (Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert), Best Actress (Michelle Yeoh) and Best Supporting Actor ( in the film) award. Ke Huy Quan.

“The Banshees of Inisherin” and “All Quiet on the Western Front” were close behind with nine nominations each, and Baz Luhrmann’s “Elvis” was awarded with eight. Austin Butler has become a bona fide superstar this awards season and is widely considered the favorite to win Best Actor for his portrayal of Elvis Presley.

And of course, betting against Steven Spielberg is never a good idea. The legendary director made the most personal film of his career with the autobiography “The Fabelmans,” and received nominations for Best Picture, Best Director and Best Original Screenplay (which he shared with Tony Kushner). Michelle Williams and Judd Hirsch both received nominations for their performances in the film, and Spielberg’s longtime composer John Williams became the oldest competing Oscar nominee ever when he won Best Original Score at age 90.

With all that excitement — not to mention formidable competition from “Top Gun: Maverick,” “Avatar: The Way of Water,” “THE LIBRARY” and “Women Talking” — it’s sure to be an Oscar for the ages. Jimmy Kimmel takes the stage tonight at the Dolby Theater. So it’s hardly surprising that everyone brings their fashion A-game.
