“The Bachelor” star DeAnna Pappas has officially filed for divorce

‘Cheeky woman’ star DeAnna Pappas officially filed for divorce from her husband of 11 years after announcing their divorce a few days ago.

According to legal documents obtained by The Blast, Pappas officially ended the marriage after filing for divorce in Los Angeles County Court.

In the filing, Pappas requests sole physical custody of the former couple’s two children. The reality star filed for spousal support and wants to end her ex-husband’s ability to collect anything.

On Thursday, the former reality star announced that she was breaking up with her husband, Stephen Stagliano. In a statement posted on Instagram, Pappas wrote: “It is with great sadness that Stephen and I have decided to end our relationship as a couple. We’ve been working hard for a long time – both as a couple and individually – and we’ve come to the conclusion that we need to stay apart.”

Pappas rose to fame after starring in a 2007 season of The Bachelor. Brad Womack. She made it to the final rose ceremony, but turned down the emotional engagement proposal. As you know, it has become “The Bachelorette” and finally got engaged to Jess Chinchak. Interestingly, she met Stagliano, who was the twin brother of a contestant, in Season 5 of the show.

Pappas married Stagliano back in 2011 in his native Georgia. Stephen, then a high school teacher, popped the question in 2010. “They were giddy with excitement,” a source told People. He added: “He looked incredibly happy.”

A source says the couple was spotted together in Los Angeles until recently.
