“Ted Lasso” Season 3 Debuts in March Official Trailer
“Ted Lasso” returns for its third season next month. Apple TV dropped a trailer for the upcoming season, at least revealing the season 3 debut date. The third season of the Emmy-winning show will debut on the streaming service on March 15.

“Ted Lasso” is set to debut Season 3 in March
Season 3 sees Ted Lasso (Jason Sudeikis) and newly promoted AFC Richmond ridiculed by the media as they sit bottom of the Premier League. Meanwhile, Nate (Nick Mohammed), after being hailed as a ‘prodigy’, has decided to work for Rupert (Anthony Head) at West Ham United.
With Nate’s departure, Roy Kent (Brett Goldstein) steps into the assistant coaching position alongside Beard (Brendan Hunt). ed also has to deal with pressures at work while dealing with personal problems at home. Additionally, Rebecca (Hannah Waddingham) is laser-focused on defeating Rupert and Keeley (Juno Temple) while navigating her role as the boss of her own PR agency. As things fall apart from all sides, the team continues to give it their best shot.

The original Apple comedy series was a big hit for the streamer and won a lot of awards prestige. The show won four Primetime Emmy Awards last year, including Outstanding Comedy Series, Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series (Sudeikis), Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series (Goldstein) and Outstanding Directing for a Comedy Series (MJ Delaney). The show won seven Emmys last year as well. Sudeikis also received Screen Actors Guild and Golden Globe Awards for his performance on the series last year. The series also won the 2022 Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series.
The series first debuted on Apple TV in August 2020, and “Ted Lasso” Season 2 ended in October 2021, giving fans more than a year to wait for the new season. As previously reported by The Blast, there have been some delays in the production of Season 3.

comment TV line, series co-creator Hunt (who also plays Coach Beard on the show) revealed that the scripts are done and ready, but the delays were caused by when the show’s production would be able to shoot some of the football scenes. As a result, Season 3 had to start later than Season 2, delaying the launch.
Sudeikis, Bill Lawrence, Joe Kelly and Hunt developed the series based on the Sudeikis character featured in NBC Sports Premier League promotional spots. They are also executive producers of the series, and Lawrence is the showrunner. The show is a co-production of Warner Bros. Television and Universal Television.
The good news is that fans now have an official debut date and the wait won’t be long. Season 3 of “Ted Lasso” will consist of 12 episodes. New episodes will be released weekly on Apple TV+ starting March 15.
