‘Ted Lasso’ is back with the official trailer for Season 3
The new trailer is set to “You Can’t Always Get What You Want” by The Rolling Stones. In their third season, newly promoted AFC Richmond must brave media ridicule as they are predicted to finish bottom of the Premier League. Meanwhile, Nate (Nick Mohammed) has started a new journey for Rupert (Anthony Head) at West Ham United. This tension is seen even more as Nate begins his new role this season in the trailer.
Also slated for Season 3, Ted (Jason Sudeikis) has to deal with pressures at work and at home while dealing with his own personal issues. Team owner Rebecca (Hannah Waddingham) wants nothing more than to beat Rupert, and Keeley (Juno Temple) is now trying to work as the head of her own PR agency. Meanwhile, Roy Kent (Brett Goldstein) has to act as assistant coach of AFC Richmond alongside Beard (Brendan Hunt). In the trailer, both Ted and Beard have a hilarious reaction to Roy as the new assistant coach, saying, “Great job.”

As previously reported by The Blast, the hit series’ third season required production delays due to the production of football scenes. Season 2 of the show ended in October 2021, so Season 3 had to wait a bit longer than Season 2.
Based on the trailer, the wait paid off, as the scenes taking place in football stadiums look very large-scale and impressive. It adds a nice level of authenticity to football series, so the wait and effort certainly paid off.
Now that “Ted Lasso” has once again won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Comedy Series, the series has proven itself as an award show. That means anticipation will be higher than ever for the third season, which will be eligible for the 2023 Primetime Emmy Awards. Last year, the show also won Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series for Sudeikis, Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series for Goldstein, and Outstanding Directing in a Comedy Series for MJ Delaney.

It will be interesting to see if this will be the last season of the hit show or not. comment The Hollywood Reporter, executive producers Hunt and Bill Lawerence said an ending was planned for this season, but the show could continue. It certainly raises the stakes if this is indeed going to be the third and final season of the show.
The wait for Season 3’s ‘Ted lasso’ is almost over. The series will return to Apple TV+ from March 15. Season 3 will consist of 12 episodes, with new episodes released on a weekly basis.
