Global music sensation Taylor Swift she reportedly declined a handwritten invitation from him Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, to appear on her Spotify podcast. Swift reportedly declined to appear on Archetypes through her representative.

Swift was sent an invitation personally written by Meghan and offered to be a guest on the princess’s highly-rated podcast hosted on Spotify. However, Swift’s rep immediately rejected the offer, saying a resounding “no” on behalf of the superstar. Wall Street Journal.
“Archetypes” is a podcast hosted by Meghan that had its debut episode last August. On the show, the former “Suits” actress talked about social issues and the history of stereotypes against women.
According to the news site, sources with insider knowledge shared that Spotify helped compile a list of potential guests for his “Archetypes” podcast, but finding the right guest was not easy. This reportedly prompted Meghan to send a “personal letter” to Swift, but the “Bejeweled” singer rejected it.

According to the Wall Street Journal, Spotify has decided to cut Meghan’s podcast ‘Archetypes’ due to low productivity and failure to meet the streaming platform’s expectations.
‘Archetypes’ is planned to be Meghan’s grand entry into the world of podcasts, after she and Harry have gained a lot of publicity from their roles as working members of the royal family. The aim of the project was to explore labels that try to hold women back. But inside sources say the podcast failed to catch on and achieve the expected level of productivity, prompting the streaming giant to shelve renewal for a second season.
Spotify and the Sussexes’ audio production company, Archewell Audio, released a statement after the breakup, saying they had “mutually agreed to part ways and are proud of the series they have created together.”
Based on WSJthe Sussexes will also miss out on receiving the full payment of a $20 million contract with Spotify for the project in 2020 because they did not meet the benchmark.

Despite Spotify averting the fallout from ‘Archetypes’, Meghan is reportedly determined to continue her forays into podcasting and content creation. The Sussexes’ $100 million deal with Netflix in 2020 was hailed as a groundbreaking move, with the couple venturing into the world of content creation to produce documentaries, documentaries, feature films and children’s shows.
