Stranger Things’ Grace Van Dien claims movie producer asked for sex

Van Dien, who plays Chrissy in the hit Netflix series, announced that she turned down four film offers and is taking a break from acting because of the experience.

Stranger Things star Grace Van Dien talks about a #MeToo moment on set.

The actress, who plays Chrissy in the hit Netflix series, shared the He winced live stream that he is taking a break from acting. “Stranger Things” will end after its upcoming fifth and final season.

“I’ve actually turned down four movies in the last two and a half weeks.” Here’s the thing: I’ve seen some people upset that I’ve turned down acting projects and decided to stream more, but the thing is, the last few projects I’ve worked on, I haven’t had the best experiences with some of the people I’ve worked with. had to,” shared Van Dien. “And during the broadcast, I can choose who I hang out with, who I talk to, etc.

He continued: “One of the last movies I did, one of the producers asked me to… like hire a girl that he slept with and then asked me to have a threesome with them. So this is my boss. I didn’t and I cried and was so upset, but it’s like when people say, “How does streaming improve your mental health?” like this. I can stay at home and play video games and not have my boss ask me to have sex with him. So it’s better for my mental health.”

The actress, who has appeared in films such as ‘What Comes Around’, ‘V for Vengeance’ and ‘Julius Caesar Live!’, continued: ‘But I handled it right. I told my management. My co-star, he was there with me and he said, “Did I hear that right?” And I said yes. And he said, “Do you want to go for a walk and talk?” I said, “Yes.” And we just had a miserable time. We cried a lot on that set.”

Van Dien concluded: “So I’m sticking to streaming a little bit, and I hope it’s not a huge wrench in your plans, but I’m happy here. And I develop my own projects, and I hope that someone decides to fund them, because then I can control my own set and I’m not going to ask my actors to sleep with me, so that’s cool, right?”

Stranger Things star Joseph Quinn recently addressed the online backlash Van Dien suffered for playing his on-screen love interest. “It’s so terrible,” Quinn said during a fan Q&A at Showmasters London Comic Con (via Digital spy). “I talked to him about it. The internet is a very unforgiving place. It’s a place where people can show great support, or where people can mix up hate and misinformation. It indicates where we are culturally, only because of the association it became bitter. Disgusting. I don’t know what to say other than it sucks.”
