The star of the hit Marvel franchise has dropped some news about where the team stands with Peter Parker’s next adventure, and it’s not good at all. At the premiere of Apple TV+’s “The Crowded Room,” Holland said he couldn’t share much, but he was “meeting” about a fourth installment.

However, these talks have now been interrupted due to the ongoing writers’ strike. The “Spider-Man 4” team wishes to stand in solidarity with the writers for as long as necessary. “I can’t talk about that, but I can say that we had meetings. In solidarity with the writers, we paused the meetings.”

Holland continued. “There have been several conversations, but right now it’s very, very early.”

Amy Pascal said something similar

Producer Amy Pascal led this conversation when she said Species at the premiere of “Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse.” “Are we going to make another movie? Of course we’re good! This is positive news

Then he said: – We are in progress, but the writer’s strike, no one works during the strike. We are all fans and when they come together we start.”

Like many people in the industry right now, the writers’ strike has had an impact on late-night television and is pausing production on many shows, including “Yellowjackets,” “Young Sheldon,” “Abbott Elementary,” “Cobra Kai” and many more.

When we last saw Peter Parker and the gang, the identity of the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man was revealed and he was accused of murdering a fellow superhero. This messes up Peter’s life, and with it MJ and Ned’s.

They stick by Peter, but he still wants to make amends. He enlists the help of Doctor Strange to help people forget his identity, but everything gets messed up and Peter Parker’s data from other timelines ends up in our Peter’s timeline.

People want to know what happens after Peter ends up friendless and lonely, becoming a more cynical version of Spider-Man that some may know from a stretch in the comics. Holland didn’t reveal the details of the small talk, but fans are begging for more after it’s over.

“When we started ‘The Crowded Room,’ it was nothing more than a beat sheet. It was nothing but, “That’s what we think this show is going to be about.”

He continued. “Working this out with (creator) Akiva Goldsman, figuring out how to relate to a piece of fiction, working on our amazing cast, finding the locations, choosing the costumes, being a part of it all was a dream come true. I loved every second of it. It was the hardest thing I’ve ever done, but I can’t wait to do it again.”
