Sia reveals the neurological disorder that has defined her life
Sia dropped the bomb it’s on autism spectrum after a late diagnosis that shocked himself and his friends.
Sia thinks that explains a lot

The singer’s late diagnosis of autism came as a surprise, but it allowed Sia to understand why she’s always felt a little different. “For 45 years, I was like … I have to put on my human suit,” he explained on “Rob Has A Podcast” with “Survivor” season 44 finalist Carolyn Wiger.
“And it’s only been in the last two years that I’ve really come into my own,” he continued, noting that he’s also sober. Sia was happy to talk to Wiger about this discovery because of her relationship with him Survivor contestant and their specific habits that make them stand out from the reality show.
Sia accepted herself

The “Chandelier” singer has had to take time to accept herself now that she has a label for what she thought was the queer part of her. “No one can ever know you and love you if you’re full of secrets and… living in shame,” she says.
Sia finally felt seen, but more importantly, understood. “When we finally sit down in a room full of strangers and tell them our deepest, darkest, most shameful secrets, and everyone laughs with us, and for the first time in our lives, we don’t feel like trash.”
Sia has found her happy place. “For the first time in our lives, we feel like we’re seen for who we are, and then we can start going out into the world and just being human and human beings at heart, and not pretending to be anything.”
Sia, some information is missing

It’s beautiful that the singer is finding herself after years of feeling this way on the outside, but some fans are questioning when the singer found out about her diagnosis and why she didn’t go into detail about it.
This may seem like a small detail, but let’s not forget that the singer made an entire film about an autistic child, so-called Music. It received backlash because the star, Maddie Zeigler, was not an actor on the spectrum, and it wouldn’t have been too difficult to hire a casting director for this.
At the time, Sia spoke of the feedback saying her “heart was always in the right place” and urged critics to “watch my movie before you judge me.”
Sia had to apologize

Despite the tweet explaining that he had cast an actor for the role, he ended up having to apologize for his ignorance. He also added a warning to the beginning of the film, which will be released in 2021.
He says, “The ‘music’ does not let go or offer restraint to autistic people. Some autistic occupational therapists specialize in sensory processing and can be consulted to teach safe ways to use proprioceptive low-pressure feedback to promote crash safety.”
Sia later revealed that the film’s backlash made her “suicidal”. He subsequently relapsed and entered rehab. The fact that her film was nominated for a Razzie award overwhelmed the singer by far.
