Scarlett Johansson talks about ‘weird’ meeting with Bill Murray

Scarlett Johansson he recently shared in an interview that he ran into him once by accident Bill Murray in an empty bar. The actress explained that the meeting was “like a dream” and said they were “just talking through that time”.

Scarlett Johannson recently opened up with Gwyneth Paltrow on a new episode of her ‘Goop’ podcast. During their conversation, Johansson recalled that she had a surprise run-in with Bill Murray.

Johansson also recalled filming “Lost in Translation” with Murray and said it was a challenging experience for her. He said: “I think it’s been difficult for him too because there’s been a lot going on with his family and his marriage. And it was like he didn’t know what we were doing in Tokyo during those weeks.”

Johansson and Murray played opposites in Sofia Coppola’s 2003 feature film. The romantic comedy-drama follows Bob (played by Murray) as he goes on vacation to Tokyo to promote a brand while suffering a midlife crisis. In Tokyo, he meets Charlotte, a university graduate, and the two of them think about their future together and separately.

In her interview with Paltrow, Johansson also talked about the lessons she learned from her husband, Colin Jost. The “Black Widow” star said she realized she doesn’t know what she wants or needs from someone else.

Johansson said, “I never realized, ‘Oh, this is essential for me; I need to be with a compassionate person. This is an essential feature that should be there. And I think it’s essential to understand the basic things you need in a partner – for longevity, anyway.”

Johansson said that identifying your partner’s foundations “changes” your relationships. She and SNL actor and writer Jost married in 2020 and have a son, Cosmo. Johansson also has a daughter, Rose, with former partner Romain Dauriac.

Bill Murray has been accused of misconduct

In April 2022, Murray was accused of sexual abuse by a co-worker while filming Being Mortal. He interviewed her at the time CNBCsaying he and the accuser (a woman) just “have a difference of opinion”.
