The property tycoon’s daughter explained that the near-tragic incident became a blur, noting that her suicide attempt occurred around the age of 15 or 16. The entrepreneur believed it happened when his family started filming their first reality TV series.
“It’s so crazy because when you go through so much trauma, I feel like your mind just blocks it,” Chrisley claimed. “I also feel like there were some side effects of what I did and it affected my memory, but it was all a blur.”
Despite her poor memory of the timeline, the socialite clearly remembered the consequences of her actions. Continuing the story, the 25-year-old said: “I remember waking up in the hospital and my parents were there and they were having discussions.”
“Even back then, I remember lying to the doctors because I didn’t want them to keep me in the hospital,” the host admitted, adding that she told people, “There’s nothing wrong with me; it was just a bad moment.”

His proud daughter, who heaped praise on the businessman, said: “My father spent countless hours with me every day just trying to get me to talk. He tells his life story, his trauma.
“He’s trying to let me know, ‘Hey, I’m not the perfect person you always thought I was. I’ve been through things in my life too. I had trauma. I want you to feel good. And he’s talking about me. And it took a while,” Chrisley concluded.

Weeks before the former beauty pageant contestant opened up about her mental health struggles, the 25-year-old shared her thoughts on becoming a mother amid his parents’ imprisonment. The heads of the Chrisley family received a total of 19 years in prison.
Following her incarceration, the couple’s eldest daughter became responsible for her brother Grayson and niece Chole. In an episode of her “Unlocked” podcast, the TV personality noted that becoming a full-time parent has affected her views on motherhood.
“Right now I’m in a rage of grief. I’m just angry about everything. And even after taking on the children. I say, ‘Okay. do i want children I? You know, seeing how it all affected us?” lamented the blonde entertainer.
Despite having doubts about his parentage, the ‘Royal Pains’ alum revealed that he enjoyed raising the younger Chrisleys; however, it was not easy. “I try to be a good adult figure in their lives, but it’s hard being 25 and having two kids and trying to figure out what’s best for them.” admitted the reality TV star.
