Rihanna and A$AP Rocky celebrate their son’s journey around his first day with a carousel of heartwarming family photos. The little boy whose full name has been revealed RZA Athelstan Mayershe is said to celebrate his birthday on May 13.

The Fenty founder, who announced her second pregnancy at the 2023 Super Bowl Halftime show, shared several videos of her and RZA, including one of her interrupting her workout.

Rihanna also recently celebrated the fifth anniversary of her Savage X Fenty line with an Instagram tribute.

Rihanna and A$AP Rocky celebrate their son’s birthday

Rihanna and A$AP Rocky celebrated their son RZA Athelstan’s first birthday on May 13. Rocky made one Instagram to pay tribute to the adorable baby by posing for cute pictures of her mother as Rihanna kisses her on the cheek. Another sweet photo shows the family of three posing and making silly faces in the mirror.

Rocky, 34, also shared photos with RZA of the father and son together, including one of them shaving together and the other holding his baby boy as they danced around the room. This is one of the few times Rihanna and Rocky have shown off their son.

The “Fashion Killa” rapper added a video of Wu-Tang Clan founding member Ol’ Dirty Bastard at the end of his birthday tribute to RZA. The video was taken at an awards show and Bastard said:

“Wu-Tang Clan is for the kids.” Rocky also captioned the entire post with the late singer, “’WU TANG IZ 4 DA CHUREN’ HAPPY 1ST BIRTHDAY TO MY 1ST BIRTHDAY. RZA.”

The baby’s name was recently revealed

The name of Rihanna and Rocky’s son, RZA Athelston Mayers, was revealed after that Daily Mail obtained his birth certificate. The celebrity couple named it after rapper and producer RZA, the leader of the current hip-hop group Wu-Tang Clan. The rapper’s real name is Robert Fitzgerald Diggs.

Their son’s name was revealed just months after Rihanna announced her second pregnancy during her iconic Super Bowl Halftime show.

Since she and Rocky resumed public flings after RZA’s birth, they’ve shared several videos of their time with him. One of the videos posted online by the “Where Have You Been” singer shows the little boy interrupting his mother’s workout.

Rihanna talks about her motherhood experience

During an interview in March British Vogue, Rihanna talked about her first months as a mother. He shared that the experience was “legendary” and “everything” and said it was completely life changing. The “Diamonds” singer also talked about not remembering her life before motherhood.

He said“You try to remember it – and there are photos of my life before – but the feeling, the desires, the things you enjoy, everything, you just don’t identify with it, because you don’t even mentally allow yourself to get there because… Because it doesn’t matter .”

In an earlier interview Elle, Rihanna also talked about her parenting style as a protective mother. She compared her mothering style to “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Teresa Giudice, who can be “psycho” to her children. The fashion icon even said that she would probably be much worse than Guidice.

Rihanna celebrates five years of Savage X Fenty

Last week, Rihanna celebrated the fifth anniversary of her Savage X Fenty line with a photo shoot shared on Instagram. In the photos, the business mogul wore black underwear from the brand and posed in front of a printer with papers flying everywhere. She captioned the celebratory post, “This gives… call HR!! #5yearsofSAVAGEX.”

Many of her fans and fellow celebrities blasted her and the label in the comments section of the “Umbrella” singer’s anniversary post.

Singer Lizzo commented: “Some underwear for my man, sis,” while supermodel Gigi Hadid posted a smiley face and flaming hearts. One fan wrote: “It feels natural, not the other way around.”
