Reese Witherspoon’s ex Jim Toth is moving on with his new girlfriend
Is it going too fast? Less than six months after announcing their divorce, Reese Witherspoon’s ex-husband Jim Toth is reportedly dating a new woman.
The Hollywood veteran and talent agent called off his union in March after eleven healthy years. The couple announced their divorce in a joint statement on social media, stressing that they are moving forward with “mutual love” and “kindness.”
However, the father of one doesn’t seem to be wasting any time opening his heart to someone else. Despite the duo’s ongoing divorce proceedings, the media personality reportedly skipped the grieving phase and accepted when she returned to dating.
In the latest update on the lives of the exes, a source revealed that a new flame has captured the heart of the former CAA employee. The ex-husband of the “Legally Blonde” star reportedly booked a lavish suite for him and his new wife, with which he spent the past few days with the love of the unidentified woman.

According to the informant, the talent agent and his girlfriend appeared in a good mood while enjoying their time together. Speaking about the romance, the insider gushed: “Jim was staying with a new girlfriend at Sendero Nosara in Costa Rica.”
“They seemed to be staying in a suite and looked very happy, just chilling and soaking up that pura vida vibe. It was definitely romantic,” the source explained People Magazine.
As mentioned, the Aliquippa native started dating four months after his ex-wife announced their divorce. In the couple’s divorce proceedings Witherspoon took the usual Hollywood route, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for their split.
The documents have been filed in Nashville, Tennessee, where the couple is raising their 10-year-old son, Tennessee James. Additionally, legal records revealed that the ex-spouses signed a prenuptial agreement in March 2011 and both parties acknowledged the validity of the pact.
The promissory note allegedly covered “adequate and sufficient provision” for the exes’ assets and liabilities. However, the New Orleans native wanted to get the judge’s approval for the couple’s son’s permanent parenting plan.
In addition, the court ordered mandatory parenting classes for the former lovers and gave both parties at least sixty days to submit proof of completion of the program.
The divorce proceedings began a month after the loving parents made a joint statement about the end of their 11-year marriage. In their message, the couple noted that they made the “difficult decision to divorce” with “great care and consideration.”

“We have had so many wonderful years together and we move forward with deep love, kindness and mutual respect for all that we have created together,” the estranged partners said in a statement.
Witherspoon and Toth emphasized that it was in their best interest to raise their son, Tennessee, in a friendly manner, and asked for the public’s protection in this new phase of their lives. In addition to her child with the talent agent, the blonde beauty has two children from a previous relationship.
The Oscar-winning woman spoke about being “checked” in her divorce filing
Months after her split from Toth was revealed, the “Water for Elephants” actress broke her silence in a viral interview. In the cover story of Harper’s BAZAAR Magazine Performance Issue, the mother of three compared the end of her two marriages.
Before meeting the talent agent, Witherspoon tied the knot with Ryan Phillippe from 1999 to 2007. The end of the couple’s relationship was widely discussed in the tabloids, a narrative the blockbuster producer wished he had shared with her.
“It’s interesting what happened to me. When I got divorced before, the tabloids had to tell people how I felt and how I processed it, and it was very out of control,” lamented the two-time Golden Globe winner.
“It feels much more authentic to be able to say things in my voice and not let someone else control what’s going on,” the 47-year-old continued. “Then there are speculations, but I can’t control that. All I can do is be my truest, most honest self and be vulnerable.”

Regarding his feelings about his second divorce, the presenter admitted that it was a difficult time for him. However, he found comfort in knowing that others were dealing with similar problems.
“I think about how many people go through this experience. I don’t feel isolated at all. I feel very connected,” Witherspoon gushed.
