Reese Witherspoon is about to have a girl! The actress announced that she and her husband, Jim Toth, are divorcing. The couple has been married for 12 years and had one child, Tennessee James Toth, in 2012.

Taking to Instagram, the ‘Legally Blonde’ star wrote: ‘We have some personal news to share… With great care and consideration we have made the difficult decision to separate. We had so many wonderful experiences. We have been together for years and we move forward with deep love, kindness and mutual respect for all that we have created together.”

His note continued: “Our highest priority in this next chapter is our son and our entire family. These things are never easy and are extremely personal. We appreciate everyone respecting our family’s privacy at this time.”

Reese gave birth to Ava Elizabeth Phillippe in September 1999 and Deacon Reese Phillippe in October 2003.

Reese and Toth met at a house party after he saved her from a “really drunk guy”.

In 2012, he revealed their first meeting IN FRONT “Jim came over and said, ‘Please forgive me, my friend.’ She just broke up with someone. Jim was a very good friend, he pulled her out of this situation. He’s kind of like that, a very good person.”

They got engaged in 2010 and married on March 26, 2011.
