Queen Latifah praises Jamie Foxx as he recovers from health scare

Queen Latifah can only say good things about his Hollywood colleague, Jamie Foxxwho recently suffered a health scare.

In an interview, he highlighted his qualities and mentioned that he is “secretly behind the musical success of many people in Hollywood”.

Foxx only recently made a public appearance after spending weeks recuperating in a private facility in Chicago. In April, he suffered a medical emergency while filming his next Netflix movie, “Back in Action.”

She began by sharing with the publication that she is “praying hard” for him as she continues to recover at home from a health scare she experienced in April.

Moving on to her honorable mentions, Latifah described the “Django Unchained” star as “one of the nicest people you’ll ever meet” and that she’s “secretly behind the musical success of so many people in Hollywood.”

“Jamie is a unicorn,” Latifah gushed about her Hollywood counterpart. “And if you aired a whole show about it, you’d be surprised how many people were brought in.”

While the singer-actress wouldn’t say if Foxx helped her personally, she did mention that she’s heard many “sweet stories” from him, especially about how he treats people who tour with him.

During the interview, Latifah also reflected on Foxx’s drive, which has often caused her to overextend herself in the past.

“I don’t know how he found the energy for the after parties after the shows, but I must have partied with him a few times because he would get on the mic and sing,” he remarked admiringly.

“I’d say, ‘You just did a whole two-hour show and you’re still in the club doing another one!’ Latifah continued.

Foxx reportedly threw a party at the Chicago rehab facility he was staying in amid his recovery. The Oscar winner spent several weeks at the facility after being moved there from an Atlanta hospital amid health scares.

Many of his loved ones, who supported him while he was away on duty, attended the party over the weekend.

This comes after Foxx was seen in public for the first time after being sidelined for several months due to health scares.

On July 9, eager onlookers spotted the “Back in Action” star taking a boat ride with friends on the Chicago River. Dressed in all black and matching shades, she appeared excited to be back in the public eye and waved to fans from the boat.

On the same day, she returned to social media after taking a break since her last Instagram post in which she shared her heartfelt appreciation to her fans for their prayers and support during her time at the hospital.

In a tweet, he hinted that his previous excursion on the Chicago River was connected to his liquor brand, Brown Sugar Bourbon.

Foxx wrote, “Boat Life Celebrating summer with @brownsugarbbn and added, “Be blessed!”

Jamie Foxx performs an act of kindness amid recovery

A few days after his first public outing since the health scare, the actor was spotted doing an act of goodwill.

A video of the actor returning a missing wallet to its female owner while in Chicago has gone viral, further cementing the actor’s kind nature.

“Mom lost her bag in Chicago today.” Jamie fox (sic) found it and brought it to him and said he was having a good time. God is good,” wrote the purse owner’s son on the video.

Foxx has not yet spoken publicly about his health scare, and his future plans remain unclear. During his absence, his family decided to keep the details of his illness confidential for undisclosed reasons.
