Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank Welcome Baby No. 2!
The newest member of the British royal family has arrived as the second precious son of Princess Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank.
The mother of two joined the line of succession to the throne as the youngest daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson. The 33-year-old man, as the niece of King Charles and the late King Charles II. She serves as Queen Elizabeth’s grandson.
The Children in Crisis ambassador recently blessed her social media followers with the first photos of her newborn son, including a sweet moment of her eldest son August Philip Hawke taking on the role of big brother.

In the latest Instagram update, the Londoner shared two pictures of the newest member of her beautiful family. The first picture captured the newborn comfortably asleep; everyone was wearing a blue knitted hat with a white brim, while their bodies were covered with a white scarf.
“Jack and I wanted to share the news that our baby boy Ernest George Ronnie Brooksbank was born on 30th May 2023 at 8.49am,” the Duchess revealed in the caption. “He was named after his great-great-grandfather, George, George’s grandfather, and my grandfather Ronald.”
“Already, Augie loves being a big brother,” the mother of two concluded with heart-shaped emoticons. As you can see in the second photo, the eldest son seemed in love with his little brother, stroking the baby’s head while the boy napped in a giant crib.
The touching post received more than 400,000 likes and many congratulatory comments. Several people celebrated the birth of the newest member of the royal family, while others noticed the expressions on the faces of August and his cousin Prince Archie.
“Is it just me or does Augie look like Archie?” someone wondered. “I thought Archie, the older one, was so similar,” echoed another. Other commenters raved about the newborn’s cuteness, with one writing: “Congratulations Brooksbank! Little Ernest is very cute.

“Wow, almost a week old!! Congratulations to the family and welcome to the world, sweet baby Ernest,” wrote a fellow admirer. Before Princess Eugenie shared the first photos of her son, Buckingham Palace announced the birth of Ernest.
“Princess Eugenie and Mr. Jack Brooksbank are delighted to announce the safe arrival of their son, Ernest George Ronnie Brooksbank. Ernest was born on Tuesday 30 May and weighed 7lb 1oz,” the Palace said in a statement on Monday, June 5.
Ernest’s middle names ‘George’ and ‘Ronnie’ pay tribute to Queen Elizabeth’s late grandfather King George V, Jack’s father George and his mother’s father Ronald. London’s second son made him 13th in line to the British throne, after his big brother August.
What’s more, the newborn was the first of Queen Elizabeth’s great-grandchildren to arrive after the longest-reigning monarch’s death in September 2022. The boy also served as his grandparents’ third grandchild.
The Duke and Duchess of York, who divorced in 1996, welcomed their second grandchild, a grandchild named Sienna Elizabeth, in 2021. The 1-year-old girl was born from the love relationship of the former couple’s eldest daughter, Princess Beatrice, and her husband. Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi.
Sarah Ferguson was in ‘grandmother heaven’ after Princess Eugenie’s second pregnancy announcement

Months before she welcomed Ernest, Princess Eugenie shocked her mother with her second pregnancy announcement. The 33-year-old shared a cute outdoor photo in January of her eldest son pressing his face into her stomach, presumably to kiss his unborn baby brother.
While August buried his face in the baby’s bump, the proud mother looked at her son, smiling brightly and lovingly. “We are so excited to share that we are adding a new member to our family this summer,” the royal post wrote.
Naturally, fans reacted positively to the news, with many sharing their congratulations and best wishes for Eugenie’s next baby. Commenters included Ferguson, who expressed his excitement with a red heart emoji and the words: “Granny Heaven”.
The Duchess of York also posted the good news on her Instagram page. The humble grandmother shared a picture of August donning a yellow raincoat and splashing in puddles. “You’re going to share the puddles, Augie!” Great news, grandma in heaven… Very grateful,” gushed the 63-year-old in the caption.
