The father and son duo stole the hearts of viewers with their close bond as they attended a cricket match at Lord’s Cricket Ground in London. ET Online reported that the Royals took a reserved seat in the front row, where they enthusiastically watched the game and exchanged ideas.
For the occasion, the doting dad donned a light blue button-down shirt under a gray sport coat and also donned a pair of dark sunglasses to complete his outfit. Meanwhile, the nine-year-old prince dressed just like his father, sporting a striped light blue shirt and a navy sports coat.

In another picture, the young prince looked happy and grateful as he was given a gift by an unknown person sitting with his partner. At some point, George also enjoyed a pizza break with his father.
George’s relaxed demeanor at the public event comes as no surprise to British media as the nine-year-old joined his father Prince William and mother Middleton, Princess of Wales, to watch a football match at Wembley Stadium in June 2021.
The explosion shared that the trio looked upbeat and excited as they watched England take on Germany at the European Championships. Prince William and Prince George wore navy suits to the event, while the Duchess of Cambridge looked striking and elegant in a red blazer.
Interestingly, the young prince was only seven years old when he took part in the game, but he looked extremely mature for such a tender age in a full suit and tie.
Not only did he show up, but he focused on the game and was delighted to watch England’s battle to bring home the trophy.
Although it is rumored that Prince William attends these matches in his spare time to entertain himself and his family, it is worth noting that the heir to the British throne is the current honorary president of the British FA.
Apart from the British royal family, other famous celebrities were present at the match and sat behind the Cambridges. The likes of England’s former professional footballer David Beckham and talented singer/songwriter Ed Sheeran watched England beat Germany at Wembley Stadium.
The kind father is already preparing his son for royal roles
As Prince William shows Prince George the fun part of royal duties, the father-of-three teaches the young prince leadership qualities.
According to reports both the Duke and Duchess of Wales used gentle techniques and methods to prepare Prince George for his future role as King. Storytelling is a unique way of nurturing their eldest son. The reason for this is that the method is less abrasive and favorable for the growing child.
According to a source close to the family, “William and Kate have already spoken to George and Charlotte about their future roles, but in a childlike way so that they understand without being overwhelmed. George knows he has something special and that one day he will be the future King of England.”
Prince William, who underwent the same procedure as a child, knows exactly what the young prince is going through, and he and his wife want to make the process as smooth as possible for their eldest son.
