Live with Kelly and Mark not so alive and not so much Kelly and Mark as Kelly and Ryan amid fan complaints about too much PDA between the new hosts!

Live with Kelly and who?

The popular morning talk show centers on longtime host Kelly Ripa and her new co-host husband Mark Consuelos. But it was repeated all week Live with Kelly and Ryan. As fans will recall, Seacrest left the show earlier this year.

He focused on his other work as host of American Idol On Air with Ryan Seacrest; and Dick Clark’s New Year’s Eve Rocking Night. He also has a charitable foundation, the Ryan Seacrest Foundation Studios, to which he wanted to devote more time.

At first, fans thought the duo had broken up and Seacrest was making a quick exit because Ripa had the schedule and was the star anyway, and look at everything else he’s been up to.

Live, Kelly and Mark are underachievers

Consuelos’ inclusion was exciting for fans at first, but they soon realized that the couple was a little too in love with their morning coffee. They took social media by storm for overuse of PDA and sharing details too much at home.

“The Kelly and Mark show is just silly! This morning they were talking about Mark snoring at night! I had to change the channel at work immediately,” one family tweeted.

A second fan tweeted. “I don’t see this show lasting… I’m not interested in watching a NY Housewives spinoff…”

Some admitted that they never wanted Consuelos as a replacement and could have predicted that the show would turn out like this!

Where are the live episodes?

Fans took to Twitter to share their annoyance that the live show wasn’t live at all. “Wow, it’s now 6 days in a row of Live with Kelly & Mark, except it’s not live (recorded earlier) and no Mark. These old shows with Ryan Seacrest. And if you look at how he introduces the day, the mouth is out of sync with the words, so they’re synced in today’s date. WTF???

Another fan agreed. “They haven’t done a whole week of live shows since Mark started. They should reschedule live a few times a month or random live mornings with Kelly and Mark.

By now, another fan expected it to go that way. “OH MY GOD!! Another day of Live with Kelly & Mark except it said “previously taped” So that’s 5 days in a row. They don’t do live shows anymore??”

Ryan Seacrest works great

Meanwhile, life is going well in Seacrest’s neck of the woods. He announced this week that he will take over the hosting of Wheel of Fortune from Pat Sajak. The longtime host announced his retirement and Seacrest got another job.

Seacrest’s reign begins in 2024: “I can’t wait to continue the tradition of spinning the wheel and working alongside the great Vanna White,” Seacrest tweeted.
