Nick Cannon admits he is open to having more children

Nick Cannon ready to have more children in the future! The host and actor recently revealed that the birth of his 12 children was a “miracle” and a call from God. He shared that he is open to receiving more because “the more the merrier.”

Cannon also admitted that she didn’t actually plan to have most of her children, but she was “open to any child.” The “Wild n Out” host has children with music legend Mariah Carey and five other women.

Nick Cannon was recently featured in “The language of love” podcast with host Dr. Laura Berman and discussed her many children. Based on Daily Mailthe “Wild ‘N Out” host revealed to Berman that it was God’s calling for him to have 12 children with six different women.

During the interview, Berman joked that Cannon had “magic sperm” because several of his expectant mothers were on “full birth control” when they became pregnant. The actor replied, “I lend God those types of things. These are miracles.” He also told Cannon that his children and his life were similar to the biblical story of Abraham, who also had several children.

Cannon responded, “I never heard that light, but I heard, ‘Well, you’re going to be a father to many.’ You are a great influence; your lineage and your descendants will do great things.” At this point, the actor revealed to Berman that he was open to having more children. He said, “The more the merrier!”

He said only God knows when he will finish

During their conversation, Berman asked Cannon if God told her to “make these babies?” In response, Cannon explained that he had recently come under fire for his answers to the question. Then she said that when people ask her about having more kids, she says, “Only God can tell when I’m done.”

Cannon added, “As open as I was with each of my children, I can’t say most of them were planned.” The “Drum Line” actor also stated that he never thought he would have so many children back in 2012 when he was “still married and just diagnosed with Lupus.”

Cannon’s 12 children are from six different women, including twins Moroccan and Monroe with the music icon and ex-wife Mariah Carey. He and model Brittany Bell have three children: a son named Golden, a daughter named Queen Power, and a baby boy named Rise Messiah.

Cannon and DJ Abby De La Rosa have 1-year-old twins Zion and Zillion and a 5-month-old daughter, Beautiful Zeppelin. He has a 10-month-old son, Legendary Love, with model Bre Tiesi, and a 7-month-old daughter, Onyx Ice, with LaNisha Cole.

Last but not least, model Alyssa Scott, with whom Cannon shares a daughter named Halo Marie. The duo previously had a son, Zen, who died of a brain tumor in December 2021 at the age of four months.

Cannon said he was open to more children after revealing he spends most of his time with his daughter Onyx. During a recent interview on The Jason Lee Podcast, the actor said that he and Onyx spend so much time together because he has a good relationship with his mother, LaNisha.

She said, “But you know, LaNisha and I have an extremely strong understanding of each other, and our co-parenting is so solid.” The comedian said he has Onyx “at least three times a week, all day.” He added. “If you see me on a Monday, Wednesday or Friday, my daughter (Onyx) is right next to me, whether I’m on set.”

The “Misfits” actor also revealed to Lee that he installed a nursery in his office to keep Onyx close. Cannon also explained that she doesn’t get to spend as much time with her other kids because “they’re in school, they’re babies, just like Onyx.”
