Disney recently announced that musical legends and New Orleans natives PJ Morton and Terence Blanchard will compose the score for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, coming to Walt Disney World and Disneyland in late 2024. Princess and the Frog.”

Disney shared that PJ Morton “writes, arranges and produces the original song for the attraction. He will perform and create all-new covers of the song as well as songs from “The Princess and the Frog” in New Orleans inside the attraction.

Meanwhile, Terence Blanchard directs “musical arrangements into the line of the spectacle. Terence works with us to select songs from “The Princess and the Frog” and iconic New Orleans themes. Like Tiana’s recipes, the music brings together a mixture of instrumental ingredients to cook something worth tasting.”

Disney fans may recognize Terence Blanchard’s music from playing the trumpet parts of Louis the Alligator in The Princess and the Frog.

Disney Parks previously reported that the new ride will pick up where the 2009 film left off with how Tiana’s life unfolded as she made her restaurant debut and married Prince Naveen.

The story follows Tiana as she purchases the salt mine and surrounding lands from which the salt dome operated. Fans will see beloved characters from the film, including Tiana’s mother Eudora, her husband Prince Naveen, and the lovable alligator Louis, all of whom helped Tiana revive the old salt mine and surrounding land, allowing them to produce fresh new ingredients. , such as. as vegetables, herbs and spices for your recipes.
