In a recent interview Mark Wahlberg revealed that she and her family moved from Los Angeles to Las Vegas to prioritize their children’s interests and pursue opportunities. The family is now spending time in Nevada and has been to various shows and restaurants.
Wahlberg and his wife Rhea Durham support their children’s interests, including sports and equestrian pursuits. He recently gave their son Michael his first car and dropped their daughter Ella off at college.

Mark Wahlberg says his family is “thriving” in Las Vegas

In an interview Oh! news, Mark Wahlberg revealed that his family’s move to Las Vegas has been a positive change for them. The 51-year-old actor revealed that his children are enjoying their time in Sin City six months after they left Los Angeles to put their children’s well-being first.
The “Ted” actor says his kids “love Vegas.” She also admitted that while she spent a lot of time pursuing her interests and career in Los Angeles, it was now time for her children to pursue theirs in Las Vegas, stating, “I spent a lot of time in LA pursuing my interests and to continue my career. , and now it’s time for them to continue their own.”
“Everybody thrives there; it was great,” he added.
“I want to provide a better life for my children, to follow and fulfill their dreams – whether it’s my daughter as a rider, my son as a basketball player, my younger son as a golfer – it made more sense to us,” he shared.

During the interview, Wahlberg also shared that moving to Las Vegas has brought him and his wife, Rhea Durham, and their children Grace, 13, Ella, 19, Brendan, 14, and Michael, 17, exciting fun as they enjoy spending time In Nevada, discover all that the city has to offer.
“I saw Adele, I saw Bruno Mars (as part of Silk Sonic),” he shared. “I saw a lot of shows and went to a lot of great restaurants. There is so much to do in Vegas and it is so exciting.”
In October, the “Me Time” star shared his plans to help turn Las Vegas into “Hollywood 2.0” by building a state-of-the-art studio and encouraging tax credit regulation. Wahlberg explained, per People magazinethat he wants to “work from home” and spend more time with his family.
Wahlberg reiterated that the move to Las Vegas was made with the children’s well-being in mind as they pursue their dreams in sports and other fields. He also explained that the decision to move gave their family a fresh start and new opportunities to grow and succeed.

The proud parents, who support their children’s interests and milestones, gave their 17-year-old son his first car in March, an all-black Ford Bronco. Durham shared photos of Michael standing next to his new ride and peeked in with his sister Grace.
The family celebrated another milestone earlier this year when they dropped off their oldest daughter, Ella, at Clemson University in South Carolina. Durham shared her feelings about the experience, writing, “On my way home from my first college outing,” she wrote. “Emotions run wild.”
