List of Critics Choice Awards 2023 winners

Since the link leading to the candidate lists has been expanded in several categories, the competition will be fiercer than ever before.

With 11 nominees for best picture, 10 nominees for best director, and nine titles for best drama series, tonight’s Critics Choice Awards will be fiercely contested. Due to more tie-ins in the voting, the 600-member Critics Choice Association nominated more films than a category normally allows, which simply means more of the year’s biggest movies and shows are up for the award.

“Everything Everywhere All at Once” leads all films with 14 nominations, while Steven Spielberg’s “The Fabelmans” is close behind with 11 nominations. “Babylon” and “The Banshees of Inisherin” received nine nods each, while “THE LIBRARY”and “Elvis” both scored seven points.

On the television side, “Abbott Elementary” and “Better Call Saul” led the pack with six and five nominations, respectively.

The 2023 Critics Choice Awards will air live on The CW starting at 7 p.m. ET. Read on for the full list of nominees, with winners in bold, with updates on how the awards were distributed.
