Mother and son now rest side by side in the Meditation Garden at Elvis’ infamous estate.

At the memorial service, the late singer’s first daughter, actress Riley, was so emotional she couldn’t deliver her eulogy and had to ask her husband to read it for her. Her husband, Australian stuntman Ben Smith-Peterson, obliged, revealing during the reading that Lisa Marie was made a grandmother shortly before her death.
Based on Daily Mail, the day before the memorial, Riley was photographed carrying a baby as she finally arrived at Graceland for the ceremony. The eulogy read: “Thank you for showing me that love is the only thing that matters in this life. I hope I can love my daughter like you loved me, like you loved my brother and my sisters.”
The actress also thanked her late mother for everything she did and the way she raised her and all her siblings, late and alive. Shortly before Riley’s speech, her grandmother, Priscilla Presley, read a poem by one of Lisa Marie’s twin daughters.
Hundreds of people showed up for the emotional ceremony

Hundreds of fans and mourners turned out at Graceland to pay their respects to the late Lisa Marie, who died of a heart attack on January 12. Celebrities included Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York, and singers Alanis Morissette and Axl Rose.
Paying tribute to Lisa Marie, Ferguson spoke of spending her whole life with the late singer. He vowed to always be there for Lisa Marie’s children, saying: “We are marching forward to support you.”

Lisa Marie’s casket was previously seen by fans and mourners at the Graceland celebration of life. After his funeral, fans were able to visit the site and view his tombstone, leaving many flowers and other offerings there.
The memorial and funeral ceremony drew thousands of Lisa Marie fans to the grounds of Graceland. According to the New York TimesThe 450-person estate hotel was fully booked from the beginning of the week until the weekend.
Hotels near the estate were also very busy, especially from last minute bookings. In lieu of graveside flowers, the Presley family asked mourners and fans to donate what they can to the Elvis Presley Charitable Foundation. The foundation raises funds to help underprivileged children in Memphis.
