Kim Kardashian opens up about her 6-year marriage to Kanye West

Kim Kardashian she spoke again about her relationship with her ex-husband Kanye West.

The mother of four apparently referenced her time with the rapper during a recent podcast, saying she learned that “you can’t help people who don’t want help.”

After her divorce from West, Kardashian dated Pete Davidson for nine months before breaking up with him last August. Now he admitted that he is ready to start dating again, but it will take time to find the right person.

During his appearance on the podcast “For the Cause with Jay ShettyKardashian was apparently reflecting on her relationship with her ex-husband, with whom she has four children, 9-year-old Northwest; Saint West, 7; Chicago West, 5; and Zsolt Nyugat.

The couple’s marriage has been plagued by a number of problems, including West’s social media antics and unpredictable behavior.

“I learned that you can’t help people who don’t want help,” said the SKIMS founder. People magazine. “You can’t force your beliefs and project them onto someone who thinks differently.”

Kardashian also seemingly indicated that she doesn’t regret her time with the rapper, from whom she finalized her divorce in November 2021.

“Sometimes I feel like people think if a relationship doesn’t work it’s a failure, but I don’t look at it as 15 years, I look at it as 10 years. This is not a failure. It’s so beautiful,” she added.

After her divorce from West, Kardashian began an unlikely affair with comedian Pete Davidson.

Despite their worlds apart, the duo seemed destined for the long haul as they regularly packed on the PDA and attended events during their relationship. Davidson even got a few tattoos for the beauty mogul and her kids, further showing her commitment.

However, in August, news broke that the pair had ended their relationship, leaving fans shocked as to what had happened.

Since then, both parties have avoided discussing the reasons for the split, although they have claimed that their schedules played a role.

Since then, Kim has not been seen dating anyone else, while Davidson has seemingly moved on with ‘Bodies Bodies Bodies’ co-star Chase Sui Wonders.

Kim Kardashian dating again


In her conversation with Shetty, Kardashian said she is at peace with herself and has embraced her single life.

However, when the podcaster asked if she was ready to fall in love again, the mother-of-four said yes, describing herself as a ‘hopeless romantic’.

“I think I’ll always be a hopeless romantic and I’ll always want to be in love and (I) like to share my life with somebody and create a life with somebody,” she said.

Still, the beauty mogul is in no rush to make it happen, as her “past mistakes” have helped her learn the importance of taking things slow when it comes to love.

“I definitely make time for it,” she said, adding that being a mother makes her considerate of the people in her life.

He added: “If I can look at all the things I did wrong, try not to make the same mistakes and take time. I think it has to be different for me.”

Kim Kardashian doesn’t want to date an A-lister

When Kim finally finds a new beau, it probably won’t be an A-list celebrity, as reports two months ago shared that she wanted someone outside of the Hollywood circle.

“Kim hasn’t been on a date, but she’s ready again,” an insider said People. “He took a breather after Pete (Davidson) but now he is interested. Would you like to date someone who is not famous in Hollywood. You think someone in finance would be perfect.

It’s unclear if he made the decision because he’s tired of failing with A-listers. However, his desire for finance is in line with his recent business moves.

Sometime last year, he launched his venture capital firm, Skky Partners, joining celebrities like Leonardo DiCaprio, Gwyneth Paltrow and Serena Williams who have similar ventures in the private equity and venture capital industries.
