Kelly Ripa Shares Husband’s Insensitive Comments During Childbirth

Kelly Ripa recently shadowed her husband, Mark Consuelos, for his tone-deaf comments during labor. Ripa’s post had comments from moms who shared similar experiences with their partners during childbirth.

The TV personality is very candid about her relationship with her husband, once revealing to Andy Cohen all the crazy places they’ve had sex, including her home.

Kelly Ripa Shades Mark Consuelos For Insensitivity

Ripa recently called out her husband Consuelos for his insensitive comments when one of their children was born. Based on Page sixShe responded to a viral graphic post on Instagram with the message: “What’s one thing your partner did, said or took you to the hospital that really helped during labor?”

The “Live with Kelly and Ryan” host then commented on several things during Consuelos’ labor. She said the “All My Children” star asked, “Do you mind if I eat?” And he also stated, “I’m going to the batting cages since you’re going to be here for a while.” However, Ripa did not reveal which of their three children she is having when Consuelos commented.

Moms shared similar experiences

Ripa’s comment was one of thousands of messages from fellow moms sharing similar labor experiences with their partners. A user commented (per Page six), “Right before I started pushing, ‘It’s okay to poop, I peed my pants when I was 23.’ The mom shared that her husband tried to teach her “how to push properly.”

Another comment read: “As I roll into the operating room for a C section…” You just give up.

A third mom noted that as the doctors inserted the epidural, her partner hugged her for support and said, “Oh, my back hurts from bending over like that.”

Despite his tone-deaf comments, Ripa and Consuelos have been going strong since tying the knot in May 1996. The “Hope and Faith” star previously spoke about their sex life, saying she never gets tired of making love with her husband. for he assures that “the woman is first” and “pleases her again and again.”

In a recent interview with Andy Cohen on “Watch What Happens Live,” Ripa shared some wild locations where she and Consuelos had sex. Cohen said, “Just based on your Instagram PDA, it’s hard to imagine where you and Mark haven’t done it.”

He then asked if Ripa and Consuelos had “snoozed” in a public bathroom or boat, to which the actress said yes and yes. She also confirmed that they were intimate on the set of “All My Children” and even at Cohen’s rented home on Fire Island.
