Kaley Cuoco’s ex Karl Cook got engaged a year after the divorce

Kaley Cuoco’s ex-husband Karl Cook, whom she divorced in 2021, can celebrate something romantic with her partner Mackenzie Drazan.

Fans may recall that Cuoco and Cook were an item for about five years, starting with a one-year date in 2016, before tying the knot in June 2018.

The actress’ ex-husband has undoubtedly moved on, as one year after their divorce, he found love again, and two years later, he announces their engagement in social media style!

Cook is a man in love and he doesn’t mind flaunting it to the world! The rider recently surprised his Instagram followers with the news of Drazan’s engagement with the cutest photo.

He was all smiles at first, just like his bride, who rested her head on his shoulder and gazed lovingly at him. While the couple were undoubtedly a sight to behold, Drazan’s oval-shaped engagement ring took center stage as it sat perfectly on her finger, on his chest.

In the accompanying caption, Cook said: “No jokes or witty remarks, just deep happiness and love. I love you so much @mackenziedrazan. I’m really sorry that you decided to spend a lot more time with me.”

Many people were all over the update in no time as they left nice congratulatory comments. “Wow congrats man so happy for you guys,” one fan wrote. Another exclaimed: “Congratulations!!! I am so happy and excited for you both! Huge hug!!!” A third commenter gushed: “Awww, ouch!!!! Congratulations to both of you❤️❤️❤️.”

Afterwards, another follower wrote: “Yay! I’m happy for you! ❤️👏”, while a fifth gushed: “Congratulations!! So glad you found your person!!!🙌” A sixth person then commented: “Amazing ❤️ Congrats 🥳👏👏🥰” Like Cook, Drazan shared a matching post declaring her undying love and recounting her response to his proposal.

The overjoyed groom reportedly hinted at his romance with Drazan in a September 25, 2022 post that featured snapshots of their trip to Yosemite National Park. Cook started the carousel with a picture of the pair grinning with an arm around his shoulder. He also posted pictures of his wife walking up the mountain and videos of the pair enjoying the scenery.

Detailing their trip to Yosemite, the rider captioned the photo: “Two days, 20 miles, 6,200 feet of vertical, 9:19 hours of hiking. Damn we saw a lot @mackenziedrazan, one hell of a trip to Yosemite!”

A few months later, the lovebirds confirmed their romance in separate social media posts, with Cook sharing adorable snaps, including a silly, smiling Darzan flower crown.

The professional rider’s shocking engagement comes exactly one year after he and Cuoco finalized their divorce. According to the obtained legal documents, the former married couple who entered into an iron hat marriage contract did not owe each other spousal maintenance.

“The Parties forever and irrevocably renounce to request or receive spousal support from the other. The Parties acknowledge and understand that such disclaimer of support is final and final,” reads the abstract of the document.

In addition, the papers also pointed out that the exes agreed that there would be no “community income” and that any income earned by either of them during their marriage “shall be the separate liability of the party earning the income.”

Recall that in September 2021, after three years of marriage, Cuoco and Cook announced their separation in a joint statement that read: “Despite our deep love and respect for each other, we have recognized that our current paths have taken us in opposite directions.”

Cook certainly isn’t the only one who has moved on, as Cuoco has also moved on with Tom Pelphrey, with whom she shares daughter Matilda.

Being a mother is a big deal for the award-winning actress, but it wasn’t what she initially expected for her future. The “Big Bang Theory” mentioned that having children was not part of her plans; however, she changed when she met Pelphrey, who eventually became obsessed with getting her pregnant.

“We both really wanted it, which I didn’t think would be my life,” Cuoco explained. “I love my career and want to continue living my life. But Tom came and something changed.

He added that they decided not to wait too long since they are quite old. Fortunately, they were blessed with a baby a few months after they went public with their relationship.
