Kaley Cuoco didn’t think about motherhood until she met Tomi

Kaley Cuoco says having a baby wasn’t part of her plans

While appearing in the cover story Emmy Magazine“The Big Bang Theory” star opened up about her new show “Based On A True Story,” her love life and her life as a new mom.

She revealed that “having a baby” was not part of her plans. But her plans changed last year when she met her partner at a party on Netflix’s “Ozark.” The duo took things up a notch and within months, daughter Matilda was born.

Recalling her decisions about motherhood, the actress said, “It wasn’t my goal. I dreamed about it as a young girl, but I got involved in my career. And then when we met, it was like, “Oh my God, I want a child with you.”

The 37-year-old actress opened up about how her choices have changed her life, saying: “We both wanted it so much that I didn’t think my life would be. I love my career and want to continue living my life. But Tom came and something changed.

“We’re not twenty years old, so we felt we probably couldn’t wait too long.” And then we were so blessed—it just happened right away.”

With her growing belly, Cuoco knew she had to tell the show’s producers, so she came up with a plan — a brilliant revamp of her character. “I am for example, “What if this character were pregnant?” And they’re like, “Um…” And I’m like, “Think about it, because maybe this is an excellent idea—and maybe it’s the only option.”

Although the role of the character did not change, Matilda became a part of the show and appeared in it while in the womb. “The good thing is that you didn’t have to write it because you can see it. There is no need to talk about the baby, because he is a physical presence in every scene. It’s in your face, so to speak.”

Cuoco further stated that Matilda was born to be on the silver screen. “It’s in your genes; “I don’t know that he won’t,” Cuoco noted. “The kid already thinks he’s the star of everything,” the new mom pointed out, before recalling a scene where her baby kicked her in the stomach, causing actress Ever Carradine to jump.

Before the interview, the Emmy-nominated actress posted pictures from the movie where the baby’s swelling was obvious. The photo captured a scene showing Cuoco and her co-star in an elevator. He wrote: “Matilda’s first starring role LOL.”

Tom Pelphrey has revealed how motherhood looks good on his partner

While motherhood wasn’t part of her plans for new mom Cuoco, she’s already rocking her new role as a mother. His companion Pelphrey had shouted earlier about being a cool mom.

He said, “Oh my God, this is so cool. You know, he’s very clever. It’s like all the qualities I love about Kaylee times 100. He is so funny and so nurturing and easy and playful and loving. I mean, he’s so loving, you know, it’s beautiful.”

The “Charmed” actress even took to social media to show that she is enjoying motherhood. Days after welcoming her baby, she posted cute pictures of her newborn on her Instagram stories.

The photo dump started with the newborn girl looking wide-eyed into the camera while the mother bowed her head. Another photo shows the baby napping on the ‘Banshee’ actor’s chest at home.

The father-daughter duo looked good at home and alongside the snap, the bubbly mum tagged her baby as ‘daddy’s girl’. In another photo, which shows just the mother-daughter duo, Cuoco smiled sweetly and hugged her baby while sitting on a gray couch.

Cuoco also shared more cute baby updates. When her daughter took a bath for the first time, she informed her fans. Proud mom Cuoco posted a shot of her baby wrapped in her arms. Next to the photo, the mother of one of the children wrote: “When the first official bath is quite cheeky.”
