Justin Roiland he got fired after an ex-girlfriend accused him of domestic abuse. THE Rick and Morty said the creator after it was verified.
Justin Roiland ‘deeply shaken’
The writer took to social media to share his feelings after the domestic violence case against him was thrown out. “justice,” he captioned a screenshot of his lengthy take on the present event.
“I have always known these claims to be false,” he opened the statement. “I never doubted that this day would come. I am grateful that this case was dismissed, but I am still deeply shaken by the terrible lies that have been told about me throughout the process.”
Roiland’s ex-girlfriend filed court papers in January charging him with one felony count of domestic abuse battery and one count of false imprisonment by threat, violence, fraud and/or deception.
The accuser, known as Jane Doe, alleged that the assault occurred in or around January 2020. Roiland pleaded not guilty and posted a $50,000 bond in August 2020 after being arrested at his home. After making up, the showrunner was ordered by court order to stay 100 feet away from Jane Doe.

Roiland’s statement spoke of how quickly friends and colleagues turned against him without evidence.
“Most of all, I’m disappointed that so many people were so quick to judge without knowing the facts, based solely on the words of a bitter ex who tried to bypass due process and ‘quit’.
Roiland was immediately let go at Adult Swim and Hulu, where he was at home Rick and Morty and Solar Opposites on the latter. At the time of the indictment, Roiland’s lawyer spoke a Daily Mail regarding your client.
“It’s hard to overstate how inaccurate the recent press coverage of this situation has been,” said Edward Welbourn. “To be clear, not only is Justin innocent, but we have every expectation that the case will be dismissed once the district attorney’s office has completed its methodical review of the evidence.”
The lawyer said: “We look forward to clearing Justin’s name and helping him move forward as quickly as possible.”

It looks like Roiland may be on a mission to get his job back, or at least get back on the show he created. Rick and Morty. “Now that the legal case is over, I am determined to move on and focus on both my creative projects and restoring my reputation,” his statement concludes.
Along with the statement, Roiland has been relatively quiet on social media since the allegations and his fight for “justice.” He popularized his role as a voice actor in Koala Man and a game published by Squanch Games called “High On Life” and some cool effects that happen around the making of the game.
Luckily for Roiland, maybe some things can start to normalize for him and his career!
