Justin Bieber’s dad is in hot water

The father of one of the world’s most famous singers decided to speak up for a cause; too bad it’s offensive. Jeremy took to Twitter today to share a message from his heart. “Don’t forget to thank a straight person for existing this month,” it said.
It was done on a rainbow background and ended with two descending thumbs up emojis. The shocking message prompted followers to jump into the comments and trash Jeremy.

Written by a follower. “Says the man who left his girlfriend and son and only returned when he was successful. I’m sorry if that’s what “family” means to you. Don’t forget to thank Justin for your money; without him you are nothing :)”

Jeremy Bieber Share more anti-LGBTQ messages

The Canadian native doesn’t claim to have been hacked or know any better. He doubled down on the hate and shared more offensive messages about the community leading up to pride month.
In March, he wrote, “Who are they,” apparently referring to the They/Them pronouns that people in the LGBTQ community and beyond have adopted. Then in May he tweeted: “Family is not important; that is all!”

Jeremy received a lot of love and support for the message, as his followers believed that since he wasn’t around to raise Justin as a child, he was happy to be back. But a few days ago, he tweeted a similar message, only more clearly.

“We should celebrate families. You know why we’re here! What this generation glorifies is incredible!” Jeremy was annoyed by what he saw as a change in the traditional family dynamic.

Jeremy Bieber got so much backlash

The gym rat was bombarded with exciting messages from people who are allies or themselves part of the LGBTQ community who needed to get a few things off their chest.
“How about thanking Usher for being a better father to Justin than you will ever be,” one follower wrote.

One person tried to recreate the color posJeremy’s color post. Instead, they used a picture of the “dead” dad and wrote: “Don’t forget to thank Justin Bieber for paying your bills this month.”

They also left the thumbs-up emoji that Jeremy used in his post. One person wrote: “Imagine a GROWN man acting like this. It’s sad.” Many people reminded her that she left Justin and that she has no place to talk about the importance of family.

“Don’t forget to thank your son for all the money he has, the same money he left as a child.”

Believe it or not, some people support him

Some of Jeremy’s followers agreed with his post: “zzz.. any comments related to this. I apologize to my generation. With all love my brother ignore them…have a wonderful day.”

And another agreed with his values that family is everything; they couldn’t understand why people were upset by a true statement. “I don’t see how that’s offensive. Lol, that’s the truth!”

Unfortunately for Jeremy, the hate is just beginning as his post gains traction and upsets many people.
