In a thoughtful reflection, the author recalled a past encounter with the 58-year-old, who she claims groped her groin tightly while they were being photographed. Elaridi’s introspection raises important questions about what criteria should determine the “deletion” of public figures based on their behavior.

In an episode of his “Quite Honestly” podcast, he emphasized that his intention is not to “abolish” love, but to draw attention to the double standards between men and women.

The host revealed that about six to 10 years ago, when he was about 24, he was working for Nightline and interviewed the songwriter at Coachella. He told me what happened. saying:

“I’m at the after party, interviewing him in a side room, and then he says come and hang out with us. So me. We take a photo together and the second picture is done, he grabs my crotch really hard.”

The award-winning journalist continued: “And it was as if I was caught off guard. So I have a photo because someone across the room snapped it and sent it to me. As she shared a laugh with her guest, the controversial photo saw the ‘Straight to Hell’ guest star and Elaridi posing together, her hand tightly gripping her thigh as he showed a shocked expression.

The TV producer’s podcast guest, Nahko, then asked if she wanted to “resign,” to which she replied, “I’m saying that. It didn’t even cross my mind to look into it now than ten years later. He’s a rock star. Not justifying it in my head, or saying it’s okay, but it would never occur to me to do that. Is it because she’s a woman and I’m a man?

The Edward Murrow Award winner emphasized that by sharing the story, it was not his intention to seek resignation or trouble for the “Nobody’s Daughter” singer, but rather to initiate a dialogue about the existence of double standards between men and women. He explained:

“Courtney was nothing but lovely when I interviewed her and I honestly think she just played a rock star. He probably thought he was going to give this kid a photo to show his friends and talk about the future.”

Elaridi noted that he did not consider his actions predatory, but pointed out that men in the public eye face serious consequences for minor crimes. He stated, “I hope we get to a place where we have open and honest conversations and give people opportunities to grow and develop instead of just accusing them and driving them away forever.”

The “Pretty On The Inside” singer praised Johnny Depp’s heroic act

The “Pirates” actor has been embroiled in a bitter defamation court battle with ex-wife Amber Heard for more than six weeks. Fans will recall that their dispute dates back to 2018, when the “Aquaman” actress wrote an op-ed in the Washington Post in which she claimed to be a survivor of sexual assault and domestic violence without specifically naming Deep as the perpetrator.

Nevertheless, it was widely concluded that she was referring to her ex-husband. During the legal ordeal, The Blast reported that several people from his 59-year-old circle supported him.

One such person, Love, recently made headlines when he praised his friend’s heroic act in 1995. She expressed her gratitude in a now-deleted Instagram video, saying: “I don’t really want to judge in public. I would like to say that Johnny gave me CPR in 1995 when I overdosed outside the Viper Room.”

The “Pirates of the Caribbean” star previously owned the venue, and it’s important to note that the “Celebrity Skin” singer was dealing with the heartbreaking loss of her husband and Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain during the incident.
