Jonathan Majors shares his favorite Valentine’s Day movies
“If a woman would do that to me, I’d be blown away,” Majors said of her step-by-step guide to the perfect Valentine’s Day watch list.
Jonathan Majors is ready to rock this Valentine’s Day.
The “Creed III” star shared her favorite romantic movies for the perfect love-focused vacation, complete with a step-by-step guide to winning over your crush (or even Majors himself).
“Send a text message with a song. My song of choice would be Aaliyah’s Come Over,” Majors said The cut. “Then just wear sweatpants.” Next you need to watch “Love Jones” – slash – “Love & Basketball”. After that, the song that should be played is “Whenever Wherever Whatever” by Maxwell.
Majors continued, “The next day, send them another song from Maxwell saying, ‘I thought you’d like this.’ And it works both ways. If a woman did that to me, I would lose my mind.”
And the Majors can also guide fans through a breakup, not just a hug.
“Play ‘Creep’ by TLC on repeat first thing in the morning, then hum it,” Majors said. “Then watch ‘Blue Valentine’ with your partner and your cat. Then play “No Scrubs” and you could have ended his relationship altogether.
Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania scene stealer he also shared that “The Notebook” is one of his favorite romantic movies.
Majors recently expressed her admiration for Christopher Nolan’s “The Dark Knight,” which “inspired” her acting career, and told IndieWire that her upcoming role in “Magazine Dreams” mirrors her own journey toward self-love.
“We’re talking about an individual who longs to be seen, to be understood and loved, which is fundamentally human,” Majors said. “Bare bones; rudimentary needs that are not being met. He took these matters into his own hands. I related to that.”
Speaking at the IndieWire 2023 Sundance Studio presented by Dropbox, Majors added, “The humanity just jumped off the page, something about the isolation that appealed to me. His inner life and a part of my inner life correlated. And then the conversation with society: What is a celebrity? Does the American Dream really exist? Is there really an end goal? Can others really love me without first loving me?
