Jimmie Allen gets more fire during his divorce from his wife

Jimmie Allen has filed a sexual harassment lawsuit against a former executive team member.

Although less than 48 hours have passed since the singer and his pregnant wife, Alexis Gale, officially filed for divorce, she has been accused of sexually assaulting and harassing the unknown person for almost two years. The shocking update comes less than a month after Gale unfollowed Allen on social media.

The suit, filed Thursday, alleges that Allen forcibly took the virginity of the former manager — who identified herself as Jane Doe — during a March 2021 business trip to Los Angeles.

She claims she woke up naked in her hotel room with vaginal bleeding and severe pain after a business dinner and had no memory of what happened. The plaintiff added that the “Best Shot” singer insisted she take Plan B pills to prevent pregnancy after the alleged incident. told:

“I was separated from my body, I felt panic. It kept me in place. At that point, all physical will was just outside the door. I was pretty paralyzed.”

The woman also included a list of instances where her former boss had sexually assaulted her, including repeatedly raping and groping her and engaging in sexual contact. Allen has since denied the allegations and wrote a statement to PEOPLE:

“It is deeply troubling and hurtful that someone I consider one of my closest friends, colleagues and confidants would make allegations that have absolutely no truth to them.”

The Grammy nominee then revealed that their relationship was consensual and noted that her accuser tried to extort money from her after their relationship ended.

While the “Freedom Was a Highway” singer’s statement put some people at ease, it left others wondering if his soon-to-be ex-wife picked up on the alleged wrongdoing and proactively unfollowed him on social media.

“After much thought and deliberation over the past few months, Lex and I have decided to separate. As we navigate this life change, we can also share that we will welcome another child later this year.”

Sources close to the couple, who share two daughters – Naomi Bettie and Zara James – revealed they decided to part ways in January after hitting a rough patch in their marriage. The Milton, Delaware natives filed for divorce on April 28, listing that as the official date of their separation.

According to the paperwork, Allen is seeking joint custody of their daughters, and his wife wants them to live primarily with her. The 37-year-old country singer, who also has an eight-year-old son from a previous relationship, noted in the documents:

“The wife would show that it is in the best interest of the parties’ minor children that, in the event of the parties’ divorce for such reason, the wife be named the primary residential parent of the parties’ minor children, with reasonable parenting time for the husband.”

In the days of the better couple, Allen celebrated the birth of their second child on Saturday, October 16, 2021, after surprisingly postponing his concert in North Carolina due to a “family emergency.” The “Make Me Want To” singer later shared a baby emoji on her Instagram Story, confirming it Arrival of Zara James.
