On January 1, the public was informed that the prodigy was crushed by the 14,330-pound snow plow. The incident happened at Renner’s Tahoe home while he was trying to prevent snow from trapping a family member’s car.

Instead, Renner’s snowplow ran him over, causing serious injuries. The actor had to undergo two surgeries in one day to alleviate the damage caused by the large snow removal equipment. The snow plow is assumed to be either a Sno-Cat or a PistenBully.

Since the incident, Renner has occasionally taken to social media to update his fans on how he’s been doing since the accident. A day after the incident, Renner posted a picture of himself in the hospital, thanked fans for their kind words and said he was “too broken to type.”
