Jamie Lynn Spears stars in Zoey 102, the Zoey 101 reboot

Jamie Lynn Spears joins the rest of the cast of the original ‘Zoey 101’ in the series reunion ‘Zoey 102’. The actress is the younger sister of singer Britney Spears and played the main character Zoey Brooks in the Nickelodeon teen sitcom. Spears appeared on the show from 2005 to 2008, receiving significant media attention after announcing her pregnancy at age 16.

After giving birth, Spears, who has released music and previously appeared in shows, took a five-year hiatus from album-making and acting. She finally returned to singing in 2013 and made her film debut in 2019 as Noreen Fitzgibbons in the Netflix series Sweet Magnolia.

Jamie Lynn Spears will be part of the Zoey 101 Reunion movie

On Thursday, Paramount+ announced that Spears will return to the Pacific Coast Academy for the upcoming “Zoey 101” reunion. The show, currently titled “Zoey 102,” will be filmed in North Carolina and will include the rest of the original cast.

The actors reprise their roles: Erin Sanders (Quinn Pensky), Christopher Massey (Michael Barret), Sean Flynn (Chase Matthews), Jack Salvatore (Mark Del Figgalo), Matthew Underwood (Logan Reese) and Abby Wilde (Stacey Dillsen).
