The “Parent Trap” star is officially a mother! The 37-year-old actress recently gave birth to her first child, a son named Luai, in Dubai. Lohan and her husband, Bader Shammas, a close associate, announced the news Page six, noting that “the family is beyond love”.

According to the news outlet, the actress and her husband have not disclosed the actual date of birth of their son, whose name means “shield” or “protector” in Arabic.

Lohan and Shammas married in April 2022 after becoming engaged in November 2021. Instagram to flaunt her stunning engagement ring with a sweet selfie, writing, “My love. My life. My family. My future. @bader.shammas #love.”

Curtis, who played Lohan’s mother in the beloved film “Freaky Friday,” revealed that the much-anticipated sequel to the blockbuster is currently on hold due to the Writers Guild of America (WGA) strike. Entertainment Weekly.

“Oh, it happens. For sure. Oh sure. No question,” Curtis told the news outlet, referring to the long-awaited “Freaky Friday 2.”

“Yeah, except when the stories need writers, and right now there aren’t any writers because they’re all fighting for their lives, their creative lives, their emotional lives, their financial lives,” he shared.

The ‘Everything Everywhere All At One’ actress continued: ‘We are in the middle of a contract dispute. So, until the writers are properly paid and protected by the producers who make billions off of them, there’s not much we can say about a ‘Freaky Friday’ sequel except that it’s happening.”

The Writers Guild of America, which represents thousands of screenwriters, has called a strike to ensure fair pay and protections for its members. They were recently joined by the Screen Actor’s Guild, SAF-AFTRA, in solidarity to demand better pay amid the new age of streaming and the rapidly evolving use of AI technology.
