How to support and donate to the victims of the earthquake in Turkey
The two earthquakes that hit Turkey claimed more than 3,000 lives in the country and in Syria.
On February 6, two earthquakes shook Turkey, the first with a magnitude of 7.8 and the second with a magnitude of 7.5. The incident caused widespread devastation in the country and Syria, with an estimated death toll of more than 3,000 and 14,000 reported injured.
Following the news, actors, filmmakers and artists worldwide supported those affected by the tragedy. Cat Stevens, Kerry Washington, Antonio Banderas and Mark Ruffalo were among those who took to social media to support the earthquake victims:
