“You know what I’ve realized, Savannah, when your child is sick, how grateful you are to the people who helped you. So I’m thankful for the doctors at Weill Cornell who were amazing and the nurses, and I’m thankful for my family and friends like you who were there every single day. So I want to, I want to thank you for that. I love you.”

To which the Australian native replied: “I love you too. You have a lot of friends out there.”
