Heather Rae and Tarek El Moussa Welcome a baby boy
In a joint Instagram post, the newest parents in town announced that their baby boy had arrived on January 31. A heartwarming photo has surfaced of Heather and Tarek cradling their newborn, whose face was cut off.
The cute parents protectively covered their hands over the little one wrapped in a colorful blanket. “Our little boy has arrived 🤍 1.31.23.” Tarek announced. “Mom and baby are happy, healthy, tired, but fine. Our hearts are very happy ❤️.”
The couple has yet to reveal details about their son’s name, but fans are overjoyed at the good news. One fan exclaimed: “Congratulations!! I knew you wanted to get this guy!! Love to all of you!!” Another declared: “Oh my gosh guys oh my god! bless it! No matter how many times you see the baby being born, it’s always wonderful!❤️❤️❤️❤️”
As The Blast reported, Heather and Tarek first shared news of their pregnancy a month after celebrating their six-month wedding anniversary. The lovebirds revealed that their pregnancy came naturally, which came as a big shock to them as they had to undergo embryo transfer as part of their IVF treatment next autumn.
“It was a huge shock. We just didn’t expect that. We recently had IVF. We had embryos on ice. We had a plan,” says the “Selling Sunset” magazine. This was even more of a surprise for the couple as they weren’t planning on having children of their own when they started dating.
According to Heather: “When we started dating three years ago, we didn’t plan on having children together. I love being Taylor and Brayden’s bonus mom.” However, seeing that her realtor husband is the best father to her children, Heather is more than inspired.
As for how the pair discovered they were soon to be parents, the “Flip or Flop” star revealed it was while filming their new HGTV show, “The Flipping El Moussas.” Tarek recalled being poked during a Zoom meeting and then asking his wife to take a pregnancy test.
In his words, “I just had this weird feeling and I felt like you need to take a pregnancy test right away.” Heather revealed that the first two PT tests were “no-detects”, but on the third attempt they got the wonderful news.
Heather suffered from severe sciatica during her pregnancy
Weeks after sharing their pregnancy news, the couple blessed fans with their gender and announced that they are welcoming a baby boy! Heather and Tarek posted a heartfelt video of themselves with Tarek’s children and another woman standing in front of a poster that read “boy” or “girl” in gold letters.
After a countdown from the excited crowd, the soon-to-be parents popped tubes to reveal a confetti shower of blue feathers, confirming they were having a boy. In November, the former Playboy playmate of the month had a regal and luxurious Winter Wonderland themed baby shower surrounded by family, friends and loved ones.
In addition to the good and exciting news of her pregnancy journey, Heather also spoke candidly about her bad times, such as her buttock pain. As we reported, the 35-year-old first shared details of her back pain in early November, which led to her trying physical therapy and acupuncture.
Unfortunately, nothing helped ease the pain. She candidly stated, “It seems from all the moms I talk to, a lot of things didn’t help until the baby came out. So, hoping that’s not the case because it hurts. I’ve never experienced anything like this before, but I’m hoping that these treatments I’m doing will relieve at least some of the pain.
In a more recent update, the ‘Selling Sunset’ star admitted that her pain had worsened, writing on social media: ‘Update on the baby: I have such bad sciatica. Today is worse than ever. It’s been about two and a half weeks and now it’s almost unbearable for me.”
The mother-of-one revealed that she can barely walk and is still looking for a solution to help her cope with the severe pain. Although she was able to manage the pain for a while, Heather confirmed that she returned in late December, weeks after her deadline.
