Miley Cyrus is flaunting her newfound maturity and her fans are loving every bit of it!

Miley Cyrus’ Candor About Liam Hemsworth Wins Her Fans’ Praise

The former couple had a nearly decade-long on-off relationship before exchanging vows in December 2018. However, after eight months of marriage, they decided to part ways. In the clip, the 30-year-old paused to address a matter she deemed “actually serious.”

She disclosed that the moment she chose to end her marriage occurred during her headline performance at the 2019 Glastonbury Festival in England, emphasizing the gravity of the decision. In her words:

“So Glastonbury was in June, which was when the decision had been made that me and Liam’s commitment to being married just really came from of course a place of love first cos we had been together for ten years but also from a place of trauma and just trying to rebuild as quickly as we could.”

The actress noted that until the day of the performance, she grasped “that it was no longer going to work in my life to be in that relationship.” The “Hannah Montana” star acknowledged adopting a facade, an experience she now strives to avoid.

“So that was another moment where the work, the performance, the character came first. And I guess that’s why it’s now so important to me for that to not be the case. That human comes first,” the “Wrecking Ball” singer explained.

Underneath Cyrus’s video, a flood of supportive comments poured in, reflecting the admiration and respect for her journey of self-discovery and healing. “She’s so wise. Love her. ✌💚😊,” one admirer stated while another user commended her diplomatic approach to discussing her past with the “Hunger Games” actor, recognizing her “incredible healing since then.”

A third lauded Cyrus for her evident “maturity and growth,” while a fourth expressed a desire to be “emotionally mature as 2023 Miley.” A netizen hailed the nineteen-time Teen Choice Awards winner’s words as “an amazing display of growth, maturity and healing.” Another also noted that it “has been a delight to watch her grow into herself.”

In another recollection, the ninth-greatest Billboard 200 female artist looked back on her former Malibu residence, once shared with her ex-partner, which fell victim to the California wildfires in 2018.

In the 13th installment of her “Used To Be Young” TikTok series, the “We Can’t Stop” hitmaker delved into her profound connection to the house, revealing, “The ‘Meet Miley Cyrus’ record was really where I started writing my own songs as a solo artist.”

The “She Is Coming” singer shared that she was collaborating with a Malibu-based producer who resided in a house in Ramirez Canyon. However, she did not anticipate that 15 years later, she would call that house her own, only for it to be tragically consumed by fire.

The “Bolt” star emphasized the enchanting influence the house held over her, expressing, “That house had so much magic to it. It ended up really changing my life.”

The ‘Flowers’ Singer Revealed How Therapy Helped Her Heal From Disney Stardom

In August, The Blast detailed how Cyrus revealed in an interview the role therapy played in her recovery from the pressures she endured during her years as a Disney child star.

Fans will recall that the “Flowers” singer achieved fame in 2006 when she portrayed the iconic role of Hannah Montana in the eponymous channel’s sitcom. The series, which aired from 2006 to 2011, depicted the life of a regular girl residing in Malibu while concealing her secret identity as a renowned pop sensation.

The four-time World Music Awards winner, who was just 13 years old at the time, noted that early fame left a lasting impact on various aspects of her life. She disclosed that seeking therapy was instrumental in navigating through the “painful memories” and ultimately led her to a “good place” in her life.

Reflecting on her journey, she stated, “When I look back at the criticism I received as a child, it has only been these last few years that I have understood just how wrong that was. I believe in therapy to help heal painful memories, and I am in a good place – but the reality is, it should never have happened!”
