Donald Trump appears to be criticizing Gov. Kim Reynolds over Truth Social

Former US President Donald Trump known for his outspoken views on his social media platform, Truth Social.

This time, he turned his attention to Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds. Trump made his feelings about the politician known Monday morning, appearing upset that he showed up at events supporting other potential presidential candidates.

On Monday morning, the former US president appeared to be running after Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds as he attended events hosted by other presidential candidates, including Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis. In a post published on Truth Social, he wrote:

“I love Iowa, protected and expanded ethanol, got $28 billion from China for our great farmers, eliminated the estate tax (death tax) on farms, made the best TRADE deals in history (USMCA, China and more), brought it to our farmers and kept Iowa “First in the nation” status. I opened the governorship for Kim Reynolds and when she lost I SUPPORTED her, held big rallies and she won. Now he wants to remain “neutral”. I don’t invite you to events! DeSanctus is down 45 points!”

The Two shared the stage several times when Trump was president

When Donald Trump was in the White House, the two were on stage together several times. According to a local Iowa CBS affiliateReynolds appeared with other GOP candidates in an attempt to secure the party’s 2024 presidential nomination. But Reynolds has vowed not to endorse any candidate in the January caucus.

He is far from alone in this. Many other politicians are choosing not to support any candidate, which appears to be a source of great frustration for the former US president.

“I want to welcome everyone to this state,” Reynolds said he told the Des Moines Register in February. “And come to think of it, I don’t know if they’re that welcome.” But you know, I made it clear, I’m happy to help introduce, travel around the state, connect in any way – especially so that when big things happen, you know about it.”
