Disney reveals that Mama Odie and others will be part of Tiana’s journey

Who will guests see from The Princess and the Frog?

As seen above, Disney Parks has released a new concept image featuring Mama Odie, the two-hundred-year-old Fairy Godmother of the Bayou from The Princess and the Frog.

“As seen in this newly released render, Mama Odie jokes with guests during their ride after performing her magic” Disney Parks shared next to the concept art. “We are thrilled to have legendary actress Jenifer Lewis, who voiced Mama Odie in Walt Disney Animation Studios’ The Princess and the Frog, return to her role for the spectacle.

Mama Odie isn’t the only character from the 2009 Disney animated film that guests will see on Tiana’s Bayou adventure. Disney Parks also shared that Princess Tiana, Prince Naveen, Mama Odie, Louis, Eudora, Charlotte, “Big Daddy”, the King and Queen of Macedonia, and Prince Ralphie will all be in the attraction.

Additionally, Bruno Campos once again voices Prince Naveen, Michael Leon Wooley as Louis, and Anika Noni Rose as Princess Tiana.

In addition to the favorite songs from the 2009 animated film, guests can also expect brand new characters and new, original music inside the attraction.

Disney Parks previously reported that the new ride will pick up where the 2009 film left off with how Tiana’s life unfolded as she made her restaurant debut and married Prince Naveen.

The story follows Tiana as she purchases the salt mine and surrounding lands from which the salt dome operated. Fans will see beloved characters from the film, including Tiana’s mother Eudora, her husband Prince Naveen, and the lovable alligator Louis, all of whom helped Tiana revive the old salt mine and surrounding land, allowing them to produce fresh new ingredients. , such as. as vegetables, herbs and spices for your recipes.
