Diane Keaton talks about the love of the single life at the age of 77

American actress Diane Keaton expressed his aversion to relationship and marriage. Keaton revealed that she is not dating and enjoys being a single woman. He has two adopted children but has never been married.

In an interview published in the May/April 2023 issue AARP MagazineKeaton has stated that he likes being single and is “very unlikely” to date or start a new relationship anytime soon.

“I’m not dating,” she shared in the interview. “I don’t remember anyone calling me and saying, ‘This is so-and-so; I want to take you. They don’t happen. Of course not.”

The “Looking for Mr. Goodbar” actress was previously linked to several A-list celebrities, including Woody Allen, Warren Beatty and Al Pacino, but they never tied the knot.

Back in January, Keaton said it had been about a decade and a half since he last went on a date, saying his suitors would probably find it weird.

“Say 15 years ago… They probably just thought, ‘That’s enough… too weird. I’m a little weird, but I’m fine,” said Per ExtraTV, after being questioned by the host.

The actress added: “One day… someone will marry me… Maybe one of the nice men who have to deal with me today.”

In a 2019 interview People magazineKeaton expressed his joy at not being married, explaining that he wasn’t meant to be.

“I think I’m weird,” the Oscar-winning actress shared. “I don’t know anything and I haven’t studied. Getting older hasn’t made me any wiser.”

Keaton, now in his fifties, adopted daughter Dexter, now 27, and son Duke, now 22. With her children moving away in recent years, she was forced to make do with the company of her favorite dog, Reggie.

“I was thinking about it today, I’m 73 years old and I think I’m the only one in my generation, and maybe before, who’s been a single woman my whole life,” she told the publication, reflecting on marriage at the time. .
