Desiigner Told By A Judge To Register As A Sex Offender

Desiigner has finally received his sentence in the mid-flight masturbation case, and it includes him registering as a sex offender. According to TMZ, the judge also ordered the rapper to be on a 2-year probation with conditions such as a psychiatric evaluation and drug testing.
Desiigner pleaded guilty to indecent exposure after allegedly exposing himself to Delta flight attendants during an April flight from Japan.
According to initial charging documents, the “Panda” hitmaker mentioned he didn’t get much “cootie” overseas. As part of his sentencing, Desiigner is now prohibited from firearm ownership, and he must complete 120 hours of community service.
‘I Am Ashamed Of My Actions’

Desiigner first made headlines earlier this year for the incident involving in-flight masturbation. After it went viral, the “Timmy Turner” rapper publicly apologized on social media, acknowledging his actions and attributing them to his mental health struggles. “I am ashamed of my actions that happened on that plane,” he explained. “Mental health is real guys, please pray for me.”
Before pleading guilty, Desiigner’s legal team requested leniency in travel restrictions, as he had plans for upcoming “tours” and was dedicated to his new music. Over the past few months, he released several singles, including “Timmy Turner 2,” where he addressed mental health, along with “Mafia Water” and “Young N Ballin.”
Desiigner Says He ‘Was Not Thinking Clearly’

Following the airplane incident, Desiigner publicly shared his decision to seek mental health support. The 26-year-old rapper expressed his remorse on Instagram, admitting to recent struggles with his well-being.
“For the past few months I have not been OK, and I have been struggling to come to terms with what is going on,” he wrote on his Instagram Story at the time, per The Independent. “While overseas for a concert I performed at, I had to be admitted into a hospital, I was not thinking clearly.”
He continued, “They gave me meds, and I had to hop on a plane home. I am ashamed of my actions that happened on that plane. I landed back to the States, and am admitting myself in a facility to help me.”
Concluding, the rapper added, “I will be canceling all of my shows and any obligations until further notice. Mental health is real guys, please pray for me. If you’re not feeling like yourself please get help.”
Desiigner Says ‘He Didn’t Really Get Much’ Sex

The complaint against Desiigner outlines the sequence of events during his flight from Japan. According to the document, a first-class Deltan flight attendant observed the “Zombie Walk” singer exposing himself approximately an hour and a half after takeoff. She promptly told him, “No,” and he complied.
However, within five minutes, the “Amen” singer exposed himself once more, prompting another flight attendant to reprimand him. Again, he covered himself up, but he repeated the act with the first attendant shortly after. She then handed him a card stating his actions violated federal law, to which he apologized.
Desiigner was directed to the back of the plane, where two of his companions were seated to monitor him. Per the FBI document, a jar of Vaseline fell into the aisle as they attempted to change seats.
He also apologized to the flight staff before landing. While detained, he informed an FBI agent that his actions were because he “didn’t really get much” sex from his trip to Japan. He also admitted to repeating the behavior after being aroused by one of the flight attendants.
