The singer was arrested Tuesday morning in Miami for driving under the influence, hitting a car that injured one person and then leaving the scene. According to the police report, witnesses saw DaniLeigh swerving at a high rate of speed.

He was then seen hitting someone with a motorized scooter and dragging the moped for about a block – another witness flagged down a nearby police officer, who then initiated a stop.

According to the officer’s report, the 28-year-old man reeked of alcohol. When field sobriety tests were administered, he failed. He was then given a breathalyzer to which he blew a .145 and a .148 on the test.

DaniLeigh was well over the legal limit

The choreographer was well over the legal limit; it was almost twice the legal limit. He was arrested and taken into custody at Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center around 8:15 a.m. Tuesday.

His charges included driving while intoxicated, leaving with serious bodily injury and property damage. His victim was taken to nearby Ryder Trauma Center in Miami. His injuries included a broken kidney and broken spine.

He posted a $9,500 bond and has not commented on the case since his release. DaniLeigh shared some moments of herself before her DUI and she lived it!

She had fun with the caption: ‘I’m out of town banging my laps 🌴🌴🌴’. The mother of one had child-free for the weekend and wanted to let her hair down. But maybe he let her down a little too much.

DaniLwigh has recently been focusing on her singing career, performing at venues across the US and even releasing a new single titled ‘Tasty’.

The singer had a baby with rapper DaBaby a few years ago. This led to a lot of drama and fights between his brother and DaBaby, who disrespected the singer on social media and otherwise.

The fight made headlines, and since then DaniLeigh hasn’t spoken much about rapper ‘Suge’ or her relationship with their daughter. Her name is Valour and she has her own IG.

Which is now being flooded with hateful comments about her mom going to jail. “He went out on the road mom,” one follower joked. “Mommy is going to jail Pookie,” wrote another inappropriate follower.

As if this toddler would read these comments and respond. The singer has been out of social media since she was released from prison.
