Chrissy Teigen has responded to one of her old tweets that was cited during a recent House Oversight Committee hearing. While the TV personality has always been vocal about her stance on various topics, she goes into full mama bear mode when people cross the line about her family.
That’s what happened in 2019 when former President Donald Trump tweeted about his “boring” husband John Legend and referred to him as his “foul-mouthed” wife, prompting the mother-of-three to respond with a rude tweet insulting Trump. Not only did the tweet contain a word used by the politician in his infamous “Access Hollywood” movie that same year, it also resurfaced in a recent House hearing.

While House Republicans’ hearing Wednesday on Twitter’s “role in suppressing the Biden laptop story” took various unexpected detours, the highlight was the resurgence of Teigen’s old tweet.
