Chris Pratt shares incredible details about his romance with his wife of nearly five years, Katherine Schwarzenegger.

The couple, who have two beautiful children, became an item in 2018 and tied the knot in June of the following year.

And while they’re not the type to go public about their happily ever after, Pratt recently did the opposite, giving a tantalizing insight into how he and his now-wife met.

Recently, the “The Drew Barrymore Show” – the Minnesota native recounted his first meeting with his spouse, which led to a whirlwind love story.

“I met Katherine, it’s been five, maybe six years now,” he said in the episode. “And God has a fast-forward button, but if it’s right — boom, they hit you. You fall in love; you’re getting married.” Before meeting Schwarzenegger, the ‘in demand’ actor was at a point in his life where he was struggling and ‘felt broken’.

He admitted as much, adding that his healing journey was about “finding a higher power and relying on it and feeling like, ‘Please save me.’ He then escaped and soon met the “woman of my dreams”.

Pratt talked about how things have been going smoothly for her and Arnold Schwarzenegger’s daughter. There is a perfect plan for you and I believe you just have to believe and if you have faith it will fall into place.

When asked about his first meeting with Schwarzenegger in a “place of faith,” he recalled, “We met in a church. I was in the front row at church, which is like, you don’t want to say, ‘Whoa, who is that? In a church. You know what I mean?”

He continued: “But I stole a glance and wondered, ‘Who is this? Anyway, what am I doing? Come on; I broke it; help. But who is it?” Elaborating further, she shared, “So we hit it off — and we didn’t start dating right away, we met there and went out later.”

Host Drew Barrymore later inquired if it was a quick relationship between the lovebirds and confirmed it was “quick”, adding: “Okay, it all made sense. You know when you’re making a puzzle and there’s a piece and you’re like, “I’m sure this is the piece,” and then you stuff it in and it looks like it should be the piece—like, “Oh, this is it. “”

The ‘Jennifer’s Body’ actor admitted: ‘It just fits. You say, “Oh, that fits because that was the piece that fits there.” It was such a feeling.”

Pratt and Schwarzenegger dated for about a year after he called off his first eight-year marriage to movie star Anna Faris. Tthe former couple publicly announced their separation via social media with posts expressing their disappointment to match.

In November 2018, the divorce was finalized, but in early June, Pratt and Schwarzenegger were seen on a picnic after reportedly communicating for months. The author’s mother, Maria Shriver, reportedly set up the pair, which led to several dates and eventually a public kiss in July 2018.

They later went Instagram official in December and vacationed together in Mexico for New Year’s Eve before getting engaged the following month.

‘Moneyball’ star shockingly excludes ex-wife from International Women’s Day tribute

Although Pratt and his ex-wife are on good terms despite their divorce, excluded her from the International Women’s Day tribute, sparking backlash from fans. The 43-year-old actor took to Instagram on a given day to take a group photo of his partner, mother-in-law Shriver and sister-in-law Christina wearing black.

“We would be nothing without the women in our lives,” he wrote in the caption. “From my wife, mother and sister to all the incredible women on my team who push it every day.”

He wrote a thank-you note to his wife and mother-in-law, but did not mention Faris, which fans pointed out in the comments section for “forgetting” the woman who gave birth to his son.

One such commenter tweeted: “Why is it that when Chris Pratt talks about his current wife and his kids with her, it sounds like he’s bashing Anna Faris and their child together? Lol.”
